Anyway, the more I think about it the more I like the idea that this is a sting to draw Alex out. They're at a location they know for a fact Alex knows and has spent a lot of time, and also the point made that the upload is in Jay's style I think really implies that they've kissed and made up off screen and are setting a trap since they know Alex watches. Either that or the hope is that hoody will turn up to help Jay then big unmasking?

Or it might be genuine and Hoody might come help Jay properly and actually align his or herself with him.

 		@Arizona like I said I don't know how the internet in the USA works, in New Zealand you can connect to the mobile network (the one that connects your cell phone, we call it 3G) with a stick and have the internet like normal. But yes, he could stop at an Internet cafe, or a Starbucks or something equivalent and uploaded it.

 		He's saying there's a conflict between Jay and Tim (like there wasn't already Razz ) Tim can't trust Jay freaking out on him and Jay doesn't trust Tim for lying to him

You're forgetting Jay's camera records on tapes. I don't see how Tim managed to convert a tape from "tape" format to digital format (however that process goes, I've never used that kind of camera before), then getting the digital form onto the phone to upload it.

It could work if he had used his phone to record everything but otherwise I don't see it Confused

This fits with the idea 'it's a trap'
And I don't like it as a reason, but the idea 'this could have been tagged on at the start of an entry' somewhat supports the trap idea too

It should be fairly obvious that he didn't record that footage on a cell phone. There's no way he would be able to upload it to his phone since in game it has already been established, Jay uses DVC tapes. Sorry, but you still need a special converter for that, or a firewire cable.

 		Opps I kinda forgot about that. Ah, yeah, maybe an Internet Cafe or something else equivalent. But, he uploaded it before he went to the address at Spring Creek.

Edit:
Although he could of had a laptop on him in the bag and put it on that and then uploaded it either using a wifi stick or using his phone as a hotspot

Oh, sure, I know what 3G is -- I think we're all the way up to 4G out here. I still don't think he did as you suggest, but that's because I don't know of any cameras that allow you to edit and add text in precisely that manner. He would have had to use a computer at some point.

This is the thing - if he's not gone yet, it effectively says 'yo, Alex/Hoody/Slendy, here's a tasty Jay that is helpless and unattended' so it's stupid if he's gone there just now.
I expect entry very soon that's pre-recorded.

 		I actually really hope Hoody does go get Jay. And then uses him the way he used Masky. Then maybe we can meet Jay's "masky-state" persona. I'd really like to see the situation flipped with Tim being the protagonist and Jay being the enigmatic masked character.

Our really old camera that has me as a baby on it does it, and that's from the early 90's and records to tape, why can't a 5-6 y/old camera do it

@TwistedPuppet that makes more sense, but he could be working with Hoody still. He still could be lying about not knowing about what happened when he's in Masky state, although I think that's unlikely
