Marcus is the "front man" for Ideltech Information. He works as the spokesperson and meets with clients regularly. Marcus is determined to keep the work atmosphere light. Not common practice when working with high-ranking government officials. The philosophy is spawned after reading an article in Business Week on SouthWest Airlines' rise to success. Marcus recalls how the employees were never asked to take their work so seriously it made them stressed. This light hearted approach to some seems like empathy, but it is the contrary. Marcus cares enough productivity to excuse all the other smaller details which inhibit the bottom line. Marcus' drive has made him very successful in finding companies which used Ideltech services for investment research.

Marcus has not done any programming since college so usually brings Marty or Jude along to answer and technical questions presented.
The shift of focus from programming has freed time for corporate development. "How many lines of code do you think Bill Gates looks through?" Marcus asks. He is very product conscious and knows TOBI's capabilities as well as just about anyone. "The hard part is figuring out [which] questions I can answer and not give away any trade secrets which make TOBI special."

Most of the financing for the new office in Aloha was found by Marcus. The new building required a down payment of $1.8 million before construction began. Most of Ideltech's previous work brought in no more than $60k. Unfortunately, a forward on the $76 million dollar government grant scheduled for payment July 31 st was out of the question. Marcus had 1.8 million reasons to give up. Instead Marcus found 1.2 million dollars in investing.

He invested $111k found in Ideltech's accounts and mortgaged his fathers home for another $131k. The $242k dollars was split up between stocks, and temporarily purchasing small business and selling them after a few improvements. The amount summed to $1.64 million in five months. Another $40k was found in signature loans from various financing companies. The last $120k needed was provided by Jude when his parents gave him the rest as a loan.

Marcus lives in Amboy Washington with his golden retriever. His family also lives in Amboy. Marcus spends most of free time enjoying Portland night life, golfing the The Cedars Golf Club, and attending Mike's, his little brothers high school sports games.

If A has $66 more than C, and D has $76 less than B, and F is going 50 mph and has a distance of 8 miles to travel, how much more will it cost A to hire a taxi to go the distance to R and back, than D? And who will arrive first with their sanity intact?

Jude sat in a hotel lobby waiting for a cab to take him to meet with government officials. Most people pick up a Time Magazine, or a Sports Illustrated. He opened a large duffle bag and started looking at continuous carbon free computer paper and studying the lines of code. In his head he saw the program like we see on the screen.

"Computers are a gift he has had since birth," the late Marsha Williams, his mother, would repeat. When his dad played pong on the TV he would sit motionless for hours, when he was only four months old. When he was 17 months old he would beat his father in the game regularly. At five he got a Texas Instruments Home Computer which allowed him to play with the programming language Basic.

In the second grade he won an Amboy science fair with a program he wrote which would create a printable calendar and allow the user to write notes for specific dates. In the 6 th grade he was experimenting in Cobol, and wrote a program which allowed him to database all his G.I. Joe favorites.

Jude went to high school and graduated with Marty and Marcus, he really did not know them that well. Marty was always in trouble by blowing up toilets and underground student papers, and Marcus was the popular jock with girls flocking to him all the time. Though the three were very different in high school, the trio had very different opinions of each other in the college environment.

Jude, though exceptionally conservative, enjoys the antics of his companions and business associates. He sometimes even goes a little wild and wears his favorite Seattle Mariner's hat to work.

Jude lives in his parent's old house. He is engaged to Ginny Holland, but no date has been set yet. Jude met Ginny through Marcus in college and hopes to remain residing in Amboy Washington.

Marty Manson

Marty has the spirit of ten men, and the discipline of less than one. For most this would lead to life of struggles, but for Marty his style spins him into a world of innovation and ingenuity. Never looking inside the box, and looking around obstacles has made Marty very successful when programming. This concept of looking around the obstacle and seeing in three dimensions was scripted into programming code and installed in TOBI.

When the three founders of Ideltech found out during a project for college, all they had created was an "every day" search engine, they decided to put a little of Marty into TOBI. TOBI was left in Marty's care for days. Then a test experiment did so well TOBI caught the attention of the federal government.

Marty believes man landing on the moon was a hoax, and a tenth of the world's population has spawned from aliens.

"This is just the kind of guy you want in a programming team," Marcus exclaimed.

Marty is the kind of guy who obsesses, and envisions many paths to the same location.

Living in Amboy has never made Marty happy so he is moving to a condo in North Portland . Marty has a Doberman guard dog. In his spare time he tends Star Trek conventions, collects comics, and tends his NRA committee meetings.
