Are you saying you actually had someone tie you up with zip ties, then you cut yourself out? Because if you did, that makes you the coolest person on this forum right now. Laughing

Yeah. I got bored of the argument so I decided to test it myself.

What can I say? I'm a curious soul.

I don't know whether to tell you that you're awesome or completely nuts. But that is dedication. Very Happy

Honestly, I'd settle for either Very Happy.

It's probably not a healthy amount of dedication to have to an internet series, but hey, I had nothing to do and I had zipties in my shed, so tested the theory out of boredom. It's a form of fact testing thats less annoying than that guy going to all the MH locations to check if it really distorted the camera.

Let me rephrase that then.

My *beliefs of Hoody being Brian or Seth still stands. For a long time I believed Hoody was Seth, because a lot of TTA videos suggest it. But now because of recent entries and OOG things I've noticed I very much think it's Brian. I didn't mean to go off topic I just didn't want to step on anyone's toes.

Quote:
There is one thing that I simply cannot get over about this entry and that is: Why did Hoody give Jay the knife to cut himself free rather than the scissors?. I've heard some people say that the knife would have been easier to use, and then I've also heard the opposite. I can't help but feel that Jay was, yes, meant to use the knife to cut himself free, but then take it along to wherever he was going (probably 79 South Creek).

What if Hoody knew that Jay would go insane and start running after he got free? Maybe Hoody didn't want Jay running with scissors? Maybe Hoody cares a lot more about Jay then we thought?

It's cool that the next Entry will probably take place at 79 South Creek Road and it'll be Entry #79 Cool

More of Medusa's Mental Meanderings ahoy!

Back in #75, I noticed Jay left his flashlight behind when he fled Tim's house. And I made all the required jokes. When he went back in #77 it was still on the counter, which I found kind of...creepy. But not right where it had been; it was sitting on top of some kind of file folder, which led me to speculate that Tim had been using it for something. His own investigations, maybe. Except when Tim left, he didn't take the flashlight with him.

Now, this place has trained me to look at small details. When Tim left, the flashlight was still sitting on top of that folder. So maybe it was only there to call our attention to the folder, and more importantly, the file inside. Subtle, but clever. Only, when Jay makes his big escape in #78, he doesn't even look at the file. He just grabs his beloved flashlight and runs.

That brings me back to questioning why Tim left Jay's flashlight sitting out on his counter for however long it was in-game. And I'm back to wallowing in my mild creeped-outedness.

Regarding Entry #75, I guess we can rule out the 'Alex holding Hoody captive' theory. I didn't notice anyone else bring this up, so forgive me if it has been previously stated.

Most people concluded that when File came out, but yeah it confirms that for sure.

So, Hoody gave Jay a camera. Is that because he believes it's important for Jay to document his actions? Or was it a calculated move to get Jay on his side? A way to say "See? You can trust me. Tim took your camera away from you; I gave you one. I'm not like Tim, I understand you. We're not so different, you and I..." Which I find to be a lot more sinister.

Or maybe he's trying to gain Jay's trust because Hoody's going to ask him to do something that seems suicidal (and my well be; I don't see Marble Hornets having a happy ending). That could explain TTA's entire MO, actually; using cryptic clues to lead Jay into dangerous situations with dubious payoffs instead of just telling him what the deal was could have been a way of getting Jay used to doing ridiculous-seeming things on nothing but TTA's say-so without hesitating or asking questions.

I just gave myself a chill. TTA is a cold, calculating bastard.

I moreso think he gave it to Jay bc he knew Jay would go after Tim. He wanted a camera to be rolling when something (this next entry) went down so he could see what happened. Rather than film it himself, he uses Jay to film it.

My first wiggling on the floor and maneuver his hands towards he knife hilt, then grip it with one hand while moving the other to present an angle to cut it and push it back and forth until its gone all the way through.

That's about as in depth as I can type it, and without getting someone to film me cutting myself out the zip ties, I can't think of any other way to go through it.
