What? So the chapter 28 verse 12 is correct, but the book is wrong. IIRC the only book Master have given to us is the Duodecad. And I don't understand how we can use the numbers to the part of the book we already have. If that's confusing, I'm sorry Laughing

Maybe the bible is right, we just need another book besides genesis ... but i cant rememba a reference to the bible from the master

 		Man, I've been searching so many dead ends in this game that have come to nothing, I just want you guys to know things aren't quiet on my end because I'm hardly playing, but because I only find rubbish Laughing
One moderately interesting thing I've found: St. Lucy's day seems to tick a lot of the boxes we've been looking for? St. Lucy is patron saint of the blind ("if you wish to see close your eyes"), born/lived/died/is celebrated in Syracuse, and we could get a clear date out of it as her festival is on December 13th, which is pretty close too so would be good for the game, and involves 13, related to the number of warlocks.
It's not 100% but I thought I'd share my findings with you, I feel like I've been pretty quiet on this thread considering how much I'm playing/enjoying this one.

 		Yeah, I have no idea what to do with the verse, but I thought that I email it to the Servant and if it's the right verse, they could give us some more hints or something. I do think there is something more to do (obviously, because we still don't have a date or any info about the portals), but I just hope that the Servant comes up with something.

 		just a few thoughts, i like the idea of "start at the poles" being an anagram, and as the servant said were still missing something. "The missing letters are a ruse" could mean these letters are a part of that anagram... I just feel like were supposed to do something else with the map still. Ive tried a few things but havent come up with anything that makes clear sense, though the anagram could easily contain the words "portal" "apostle" (since weve used the bible) "east" "southeaster" "Stop at" etc etc.

You have received the Index page - aside from the prologue, there are 12 chapters. It is my belief that each of the letter/number combinations in the index points us to a chapter title or keyword for each chapter. Perhaps identifying the title for a given chapter will aid in solving the puzzles hidden within.

Your work so far is impressive - as a group, we are progressing much further than I was able to.
It would seem that C and v do indeed point us to Acts 28:12. The mention of Syracuse is interesting - it is my belief that 6 of hearts has hit the nail on the head with the reference to St. Lucy.
However, is it not true that evil rises on a sequence?

As for the poles, I am certain that the missing letters are indeed 'a r u s e'.
If the mathematics has led us to the date, then this must certainly lead us to the 'nature' of the portals.
What are the portals?

I wonder whether the map is not entirely designed to confuse those who are searching for 'poles'.

One last thing.
I received a text message this morning. It seems that someone is monitoring our progress and knows how to contact me.

The text message simply read: To deactivate, use the Rouennais.
