[SOLVED] Spam? I guess not...

I was reading a thread in the Syzygy forum that was about spam not being spam, and pointed to a neat-o tool called www.spammimic.com. That got me paying a modicum of attention to the apparent junk mail I get. I just noticed an email I got at an account where I don't usually get spam:

I know what you are about to read can be mixed up in the junk mail pretty
easy. I hope it doesn't. You have no idea who I am, and I wouldn't mind
keeping it that way. At least for now. To know more find my blog. I am
sorry for being this way. You see there is a program roaming the internet
capable of learning anything. Fortunately, it has a problem with
pop-culture.

When does one find True Romance? When it is found, love tastes like a
peach. Snow is for sale in Hollywood. Christopher walks for this
associate.

It looks promising, with what seems to me to be a reference to TOBI ... and obviously something more hidden in there somewhere to help find the blog in question, but what? I played with spammimic ... no dice there. Tally ho!

Quote:
When they bus drove away and I realized it was just me and the degenerate no one would miss, I took action. I took his little scronny neck into my hands. He scratched at my arms. Small blood vessels popped in his eyes. The whites were turning red. And I let go. Letting the blood in his head return to his heart. Once he had enough strength to run off, I did it again. I wanted to make sure he knew he knew he was repulsing so the world wouldn't have to be infected by his culture again. After I released, he was coughing. Not only did I restrict the blood this time, I restricted air. After a few seconds I did it again. He went limp, and still had a pulse, so I left him there. Police picked him up later and arrested him for public intoxication.

Should we trust this guy. He sounds as if he's a sandwich short of a picnic if you know what I mean.

Drexels medication is Gabapentin which is commonily used for as a anticonvulsant and also interestingly as a mood stabilizer in the treatment of bipolar disorder. It has alot of side effects some of which are Depression, irritability, or other mood or mental changes; loss of memory.

maybe that has something to do with him attacking the vagrant

I would go so far as to call him a sadist and a sociopath but what the heck do I know? I'm not a psychiatrist. It's possible we're supposed to infer from that passage that Drexel has had some training in torture and killing techniques. As in Special Ops.
I am disturbed by his thought that we are all being recruited as spy fodder.

The word is out, and my work is not even close to done. I see they have found the blog. The web traffic proves it. Ah, they never found the trail, just the destination. I am sure they have questions. They need to find the trail.

I got the email too. Just thought I'd throw a few ideas out that I got. Could the blog reference to the security password (one of the team's mother's maiden name) could be a puzzle hint for later in the game? The paragraph at the end of the email seems odd, could they be information disguised using pop culture (the reference to pop culture fooling TOBI, True Romance is a film, Christopher could be Christopher Reeves, etc)? Why does refer to himself as Drexel Walker in the blog whereas in the email the name is Drexel Maddison?

I have Comcast too and am searching for user profiles etc to find out more about him. But as far as I can tell, Comcast does not have user profiles like Yahoo. They also have an option for you to have your own web page. No luck for Drexel Maddison (email addy, which is what Comcast automatically uses for the web page) or Drexel Walker. Time to search some more. Don't know if it would help anyway, just thinking out loud.

It looks like we've got two identical threads going on here. Is there anyway we can merge them?
