Hmm... maybe I should clarify what Sandy (if its even her -_-) told me.

I just noticed something about the Transport Records, the new edition of MOPTRA forms, that the birthdate of the traveller is later than the travel itself, the example I used in my email to her being that the person was born some 10 years later (lol) after the travel took place.

I never receive any emails from either side anymore which IMO is quite poor.

There was a document from the yellow tra forms that was wrong the other day and i messaged to let them know but i never got my points back - its not my fault they got the airport code wrong. No one ever messaged me back about that. Or indeed various other things i have asked mop.

crOn i can perhaps be a bit more lenient since i said i would only deal with the groundsman. However anyone can sign an email with anything so its no excuse IMO.

In all honesty I'm playing my character as a huge pain in the butt towards cron. That's not how i am in real life btw I'm actually really nice and quite different from how i portray my agent in cron. I think regardless of how someone chooses to portray themselves in game they should always be treated the same as a player who perhaps portrays themselves as not a giant pain the pants.

There are a few of us who just cant get our heads round the glaring plot holes. For example the jean baker thing. Myself and kira told mop about her little leak and then we were told she was "disposed of" and "dealt with" meaning she was dead - then for a while they tried to resurrect her until obviously the video transpired and it turned out that she actually was dead in a "landfill" they said. I now have no idea where they are trying to go with the plot. My last report to them was a glaring pile of sarcasm where to one of the questions i even answered "because they lie and did i mention they lie". That is how my character has decided to be. I simply have just lost the will i guess, also after 151 attempts at the nodes i was pretty peeved. The previous mission was rolled out with numerous errors then pulled. Then it was rolled out again and then pulled again and then there was another error with the reporting.

Secondly myself and kira again had a private conversation on Skype when the video of sandy and her dog appeared on the private mopain YouTube channel. Between us we devised to tell mop and mop told us both on separate occasions that it would be "looked into" we then pressed the issue for updates and one was told that she was being "re educated" which basically is mop code for killed. And the other was told she was "disposed of" Yet suddenly here she is alive well and seemingly talking to you. Telling three players she is dead and then sending emails as her isn't very consistent

I don't know if your part of the pm team or not to be honest. There are a few others i suspect who may or may not also be affiliated with the pm in some way. However, it did peak my concern when you seemed to know about the sandy thing since that was a private discussion on a completely separate skype call rather than something posted on this forum so im sure you can understand why we perhaps think you might have been affiliated with the pm team ( perhaps even a student at the uni involved in this study idk) in some way given you knew this information about sandy when no one else did.

There are other aspects of the game i was working on with others on skype simply due to the time differences. I am in the UK and kira is in Auz so we have a limited time where we can plan and discuss game tactics.

I am not sure if i will continue on with this game - given that they seem to have for whatever reason ceased interaction with me and skipped over several plot holes ( my PM/Writer OCD is itching really bad!! ) This game was great and started out with an amazing degree of interaction and then seemed to cease with me. I feel that a PM shouldn't really be selective as to who they contact and who they don't, after all a player is a player. I won't drop it without speaking to the others first - simply because if they need me to do something or they need me to co op on something then i will. If the others are out then i will also be out.

I would rather they allow us to contact each other via cr0n's message system. More engaging and immersive? But meh, might be hard to code that.

And like I said, by Sandy... "okay" meant she was (is?) rather friendly, I didnt know she was supposed to be gone...

Anyway, maybe they are stalling coz they mixed up their own information, which is likely, from what you mentioned; all the contradictions etc... which is just -_- ... Maybe I should just stick to URL games lol

Just a question... are the videos with Jean Baker, well, canon? Or are they sort of retconned or discarded by the creators?

I don't think I would use an in game messaging system. It allows them to see your every move.

We usually communicate by Skype ( there are 5 of us all in different time zones so its just easier I guess) and also here, where we usually share hints and or node solves.

@mrshomersimpson-I agree wholeheartedly, the thing that annoys me the most is that the game is meant to be all in one big world with everyone's actions being taken into account. However, it appears that they are undoing certain player's decisions from the game entirely just to keep the status quo. I swear, if they do that to another little event that me and my friend instigated then I personally will be leaving the game, PMs need to learn to adapt the stories to fit the actions of the player, rather then saying it is interactive but removing all changes made by the players just seems kinda stupid, what next? Revive Jean Baker?

I like the new system, it makes things much quicker. I suggested several things to them, like making the unread messages count link to the inbox (which they have implemented) and asked if there could be a quicker way to submit documents and fill in forms, so I think in part, the new changes are down to me (and possibly others?) requesting it. Sorry if you don't like it!

I tend to get replies within a few days, which is interactive enough to satisfy me.

As for Sandy Spencer, you mentioned MOP said she was being re-conditioned, so perhaps that is why she is now so happy and enthusiastic?

I have lost track of the plot as well now though, and I am just completing the missions as they come along and not really paying that much attention to the larger story.

@zac I agree, the new system is really cool compared to the old one, I do not like the fact that they took credit for your suggestion, YOU made it, YOU should get credit for it, as mrshomersimpson said, you should feel annoyed that Zombie Sandy took your idea and claimed it as her own.

As my friend also mentioned, she had posted several extracts from communications with MOPAIM, the fact that they were rude to her on BOTH sides of the story (MOP and cr0n, MOP started after she submitted her first request for special status in a way that she wanted to without revealing some of her personal information, and cr0n after she reported a mistake in one of the missions, they had the nerve to accuse HER of making a mistake instead of themselves). This tells me that the rudeness is not from a character IN the story, but from a member of the PM team itself.

I too have begun to wonder whether the PM team just dislikes us because we try to give the rest of the players an interesting story and show this by waiting until the end of a performance period and/or half-way through one to respond to us, that combined with the fact that they constantly stall for time when we ask about our ideas in-character tells us that the PM either:
a) dislikes us and wants us out of the game
b) is simply not prepared for the kind of changes to the story that ARG players can bring.

With regards to the plot, I too have lost sight of it.

There have been several times when I have said "f**k this" and decided to leave, however I always came back to give them another chance, that may change if they keep acting the way they are.

I see your points about Sandy claiming credit for my suggestions now, so I sent a slightly passive aggressive email to them asking for credit, so we'll see what they say. I'm betting they'll just brush me off with something generic though.

Coz its likely to Sandy will read those messages...
If we can send a message to MOP to some other person besides Sandy, maybe we can ask them about her actual fate. Or if its really someone impersonating Sandy, then we can tell them that too.
