I retract my previous statement that it looked like Seth in 54. It's the lit part of Amy's face from 26. Is no one else intrigued by that?

I was thinking sign language too, for a while. Even sat there making the hand symbols for the letters in the Quadrant code, or tried shaping my hand into the letter to try to translate it to something, but nothing came up with it. Typing was there, but I will submit that sign language came as the more obvious answer.

Then again, let's all remember that we're talking about TTA, and 'obvious' isn't always right.

I checked entry 76, where Alex is comforting Jess when he finds her in the woods. At 3:15 he says "Calm down," in a slightly more tense tone than Quadrant's audio (also in Quadrant his voice says "Stay calm", which is a somewhat gentler phrase.) At 5:09 he says "Hold on", but it's also in a slightly more tense tone.

What caught my attention was how gentle - even loving! - the "Stay calm - Hold off" in Quadrant sound. If that's Alex speaking, he's speaking far more nicely than he has to anyone else at this point in his life. So, I'm confident that the "Stay calm - Hold off" come from Alex speaking to Amy. Who else would he speak to like that?

If that's true, I expect that Amy is also bound near where Alex is. Could this be a general location where TO is dropping the folks he's yoinked? Are we going to see the rotting corpse of that poor hiker who was killed by Alex in Entry 49?

so this could be related, but so not likely just made me giggle.


I found this to be really compelling. A lot of people think that this passage refers to the Rapture, when all of the world's Christians just up and disappear (think the Left Behind series). But this sounds eerily like how TO yoinks people, living or dead, from existence. This also could tie into the Ark imagery. Perhaps in the MH universe, TO has been operating since at least the first century AD, when the gospel of Luke was likely compiled?

Yes I see long hair and boobs. Pretty sure it is Amy. Probably just hinting that she has been found or some other symbolism. Don't think she is Hoody or TTA.

To the Bible thing:

That was eerily similar to what TO does. It would make a great addition to the series. But the way it was found seemed complicated and unlikely. Could someone go back over how those dots were connected?

Hm...Well, I went through the code, counting left to right, top to bottom, took the 5th character out, and then continued from there...

Unless TO's gonna abduct everyone in New York City and the rest is the date and time, I don't think I got anywhere going that route x.x...Maybe there's something else?

As for the bible thing: Interesting, but just about any bible verse can be twisted to have some meaning to this. I don't think it's definitive enough.

 		The post I made with the pic was to identify the face (the file name just refers to the entry I took the image from).
I don't think Amy is ToTheArk or Hoody, I think his just saying that he knows her location pr what has happened to her.

 		Regarding the title...I know that usually TTA videos just have cryptic sounding "cool" titles, but this one does seem to communicate some meaning, especially given the "Am I the third" bit.

The thing is, I don't think we are meant to make some sort of connection to mathematical quadrants. I think it's simply meant to suggest this: quadrants come in fours. So, whatever TTA claims he/she/it is the "third" of, all this communicates is that there is a fourth.

So, if he's the third "liar", it just suggests that there's a fourth liar.

If it's victims of Alex, then we would have to assume that there will be a fourth. (I.E. if I don't stop Alex you'll be the fourth kind of thing)

If it's the third TTA(i.e. 3rd person to control the account) it just means that they have a fourth in mind.

And so forth.

So that might help us make sense of "the third".

One caveat must be made: it's very possible that "the third" is a codebreaking hint. In that case, it may not have any connection to the larger plot beyond that, and indeed it even MIGHT have something to do with mathematical graphing quandrants. (I don't know anything about codebreaking, but precisely because I don't know, I didn't want to leave it out.)

I don't think Marble Hornets is in the least biblically inclined, personally.

Couple years lurking, first time posting.

Has anybody already said that Seth is actually the third child of Adam and Eve? I wouldn't like biblical issues in Marble Hornets, but... It seems so interesting.

This is a really good point. We have been ignoring the possibility that this is hinting to a fourth victim/liar/TTA/ etc. Maybe the Amy pics has something to do with it? Is she the fourth victim/liar? Maybe she never disappeared?

Interesting. I don't like the Biblical things either but it isn't like TTA wouldn't use biblical things as hints. TTA has used much stranger things.

Actually, I wouldn't ENTIRELY discount it. While it IS true that TTA does so many damn weird things that you could probably throw a dart at a wall full of bible pages and hit something that sounds like what TTA does, we need to keep one thing in mind: The name is To The ARK. And we'd just had a recent reference made to this "Ark" again.

Given that TTA believes that we are about to "find the ark"(and again we still have no idea what this even means to TTA, or even if "the ark" is a thing or just a concept), a reference to an apocalyptic passage could very well be legitimate. TTA may be simply saying that we are near "the end". (Again, not necessarily the end of the series, but the end of whatever it is TTA has been seeking)

EDIT: Oops, I realize you were saying you DID think it was plausible. Oh well, point still stands.

 		There is something grimly ironic about having an Ark involved. The original Ark was a means of preserving a few righteous folks (and animals) against the judgment of God, but I have a hard time imagining the Ark in MH as being a very nice place or thing. Still, if the Ark in MH is anything like the biblical Ark, we're probably going to have some kind of apocalypse on our hands.
