For everyone holding out hope that Jay might come out of all this alive, it's all going to boil down on how long he spends in oppyland. It's established that time moves differently between the two, but relativity is in play. Jay will bleed out at the same rate regardless of where he's at, and while a gut shot isn't instantly fatal and he could hang on for a while, there's a lot of secondary injuries he's going to be looking at. Sepsis from a ruptured intestine, internal hemorrhaging, all sorts of nasty stuff.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
While the lack of blood on the floor could just be an OOG budget or set limitations issue, IG it points to there not being an exit wound. The gun isn't a .22 (it's too loud), so Alex might have been using hollow point ammo. If that's the case, Jay is most certainly hosed because his belly's full of little pieces of lead.

I like how this entry's like a tragic reversal of Entry #52. Rather than Alex screwing around pointing his gun at Jay and ranting, here he cuts the shit and just shoots. Rather than Jay bravely running at TO, TO grabs his broken body off of the ground and pulls him over itself.

Okay, about the same shoe thing. Entry 71 takes place in 2006. We're less than a month away from 2014, so that would mean that Alex is wearing the same shoe from 8 years ago.
Has it been 8 years for Alex though?

Another thing, I feel like perhaps they are setting up for Season 4 to have Tim as the main character. He is arguably more stable than Jay and has the account passwords, if Jay goes off the rails then I could easily see Tim taking the reigns.

Oh, I was completely unaware of their future plans.
Honestly even though it's Jay's investigation, ever since the hospital stuff I believe it's Tim's story and we're more or less seeing it through Jay's eyes.

Called it.

Also that was a good entry, I've not been this pumped up for Marble Hornets in a loooong time.

Does anyone else find it extremely sad that Jay died doing what he believed was right? I hate Alex more than I ever have before at this point. Maybe that's why they killed Jay off, to make the viewer really really hate Alex.

I don't think Alex has much of a choice about his actions, anymore. He's mostly just a puppet for TO.

I am betting Jay's not dead. It was too abrupt and unclear.

I hope they reveal Alex is killing the operator's victims knowing that he controls them in their masky states or "takes control" of them or whatever, and that Alex's main goal is to limit the number of people the operator can control until it's down to just him, and then he will kill himself to finally (hopefully) rid the world of the operator as it will die while "inside" of his body

kind of shittily worded but you get the idea

Here are all the things I'm expecting to see, rather than just hoping for:

1. The Operating doors. Could've gone either way before but now that we have Quadrant, I'll say we're going behind those doors.
2. The tunnel. I bet Tim will go there to try to get into the "dark place". And we need to see the other side's significance as well.
3. What was Tim doing at the college, exactly? He kept running off to different places to do things, what was he doing? I think we'll get some time dedicated to that, now that Tim's in charge.
4. A confrontation/unmasking of Hoody. This will be one big entry in itself, as well as one of the very last of the series.
5. Alex's attic. I still have a strong feeling that this is where it will all end. No place feels as perfect for the climax.
6. TO's dark realm visit will probably be a separate entry, even from the Rosswood tunnel return. Kind of like how they went there in #64 and then in #65 we actually see Tim in the realm, except this time it will be planned by Tim (and possibly Hoody).

Then as well as these, there'll be entries connecting them and entries dedicated to answers that I'm not considering essential (even if I really want to see the hospital's roof and Sarah's fate, they might not be shown) or answers we haven't/can't have considered (answers raised from future entries, for example).

What is the significance of the doors?? I don't even remember hearing about them until Quadrant. Is this the new SlenyHole from season 1?

Judging by Tim's reaction to them in #65, something terrifying is beyond them.

Theory time:

Totheark wants Jay to live.
Totheark and Hoody are the same person, but sometimes he is in masky mode while wearing the hoody costume (see: last entry). Masky hoody wants Jay dead.
Tim wants Jay alive. Masky Tim wants him dead.
Alex once wanted Jay alive. Just killed Jay.

When in masky mode, the operator's effects take full control of a person and has them do his dirty work. The operator keeps his victims on the other side of the tunnel until he has done w/e he needs to do with them, his minions(such as alex in entry 50) stand guard. This would explain why Alex was always at Rosswood at night, as well as the name "noentry". His minions also adopt his form of stalking when in masky mode.

Tim and Hoody wear masks so the operator can't read their reactions, and therefore can't tell if they're in masky mode or not as long as they appear to be doing their "job." They use this to trick the operator and to get close to Alex/Jay, possibly even Jessica, without him interfering. Not talking is part of the deception, as is tta not revealing anything of importance to Jay, as that would tip the operator off. The pills allow Tim to stay normal, and allow TTA to stalk/create his videos.

Alex uses the entries (73 and whichever one mentioned amy) to his advantage and leaves fake notes pretending to be hoody. He does this to lure Jay/Tim into an isolated location where he can kill them. In retrospect, the note in the previous entry was pretty useless. Hoody must have been the one to lock the door to the building Alex was in. The one really shitty thing about all this is that if it was a trap by Alex, he was waiting there for so long just in hopes that someone would show up.

Reposting. Also, hoody is most likely not "future Jay." He has been seen on screen with Jay on more than one occasion. We have never seen anyone travel backwards in time, only forwards.

However, if they reveal the operator can cause backwards time travel (up to 6+ years of time travel), hoody can definitely be future jay. It would explain Alex's motives for killing him

Actually, fuck all that. Hoody is not future Jay because when Alex encounters an unmasked hoody he asks "where are tim and jay" not "where are tim and... past you"

Plus, if hoody was future Jay, he wouldn't have hesitated in shooting alex that one time based on this event. it would be possible that he knows he can't alter the past... but i really don't want the series to just have a cheap ripoff of inFamous

At this point, I'm estimating we will get a dark ending where nobody survives, similar to the paranormal activity movies. There is no feasible way to kill the operator, only his minions. Even if Alex dies, the operator is still around, and based on the fact that he was "operating" jessica in her hotel room, its safe to say he can find anyone he wants anytime he wants. If alex dies he will find a new vessel.

According to Tim in Entry #65, that's where he first met The Operator.

A good theory, but I think what's possibly is happening as well is that Alex is the new proxy for The Operator since he's lost control of Tim.

One other note, I'm pretty sure the next vid will not be the last, but will still be straight up super important? Why? Well, Tim was wearing his chestcam when he went into that building, and he did seem to flee pretty damn quickly, amirite?

Also: GOD DAMMIT! STOP COCK TEASING UP AND TELL US WHAT THE FUCKING ARK IS! IT'S BEEN 3 SEASONS!!!

Yup. Not forget that these doors are in the hospital that Tim was hospitalised in as a child.
+ The doors remind of the doors leading to an operating room
+ The page in Tims medical documents about his operation was heavily redacted and had the "operator symbol" on it.

Curious thing...although the way the events are unfolding looked like Tim broad the operator with him to Alex and Marble Hornet, we have the enttry showing TO 4 years prior to Tim hospitalization at Alex' birthday. However, we don't know anything about Alex having any Operator related issues before Marble Hornets.

/edited a double quote out.
