In contrast to the Entry where Alex and Hoody have a slight face-off then yes Hoody does seem slightly less powerful. I thought he cornered Alex and even fought him off. How did it go from Hoody have more info than Alex to Alex one-uping Hoody making him run away?

I think that hoody didn't expect TO's influence over Alex to be so great, which is why Alex was able to best hoody, because usually it seems as if hoody uses the fear and terror of the people he/they attack as his greatest weapon. But in terms of Alex, he has become emotionless to everything. killing friends with no remorse, even though it could possibly be some level of dominion where when TO is near, Alex becomes his thrall. I think its more of an external factor as to how Alex could best him, and considering hoody rarely stalked/followed Alex unless Alex accompanied by another person, he knows damn well he's a greater threat more now than ever before.


Edit: I think it's also worth noting that whenever Alex is in danger, TO always shows up. Having TO on your side in any enviornmental stressors is obviously a massive advantage against any opponent. well, anyone aside from Mothra Razz

 		Not sure if anyone's said this, but to add to the bit about who picked up the camera first...

Not only were those the same shoes that Alex wears, but if you watch carefully, when the camera comes back on after Alex shuts it off, it's being picked up off the ground again. So the camera was picked up twice after Jay disappeared.

That being said, Tim knows what these cameras look like. Seeing blood and a camera, even my first guess would be that it belonged to Jay. Alex doesn't use a camera anymore, so it's unlikely to be him. Tim probably suspected something like that might happen, but he was hoping desperately that it wouldn't.

As for why Alex came in and turned the camera off, I'd be willing to bet he wanted Tim to be able to see what happened to Jay. Maybe as a testament to what would happen if he saw Tim again?

His face could have been disfigured. Same with the whole Future Jay theory. Or maybe in 68 Alex didn't give 2 shits about who Hoody was at the time.

If he kills himself, then the present day Alex will never become hoody, so Alex will never be killed.

I think hoody being future hoody is the most solid theory yet. He knows whose hiding what and where to be at all times because he's already seen the series on YouTube in the future.

Edit: New thought. What if hoody... is one of us?

Hoody is the living embodiment of the unification forums. As much as we want to help the characters, secretly try to thwart Alex, send messages to Jay, we end up failing and blaming others including ourselves.
