Not really an ARG but figured you guys might like it

Hey Guys, Gizmo here...

Recently i've been bored, and when I get bored... I like to make puzzles... on top of this I've got a job, which is bleh in pay, but I really don't spend that much money... So, I've decided to make a little bit of a competition.

So I've made a puzzle, and I've set a prize--50.00 USD; it's not much, I know. but hey, its freeish money... but anyway...

here is the puzzle:

EDIT: upped the prize

Been working at this for a day now. My assumption is Base64 so I've decoded it multiple times. Unfortunately for me I've hit a hitch in the road. But I shall keep pushing forward!

I've been working on it in the background. My first step was to eliminate all of the repetitive padding. I've reduced it all down to 4,345 "bytes" of data consisting of only 4 different characters. Now I just need to discover a way to use that as an encoding method.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
those four units became {dot, dash, slash, space} and the stream became Morse code. The decoding gave me a string of text which spelled out numbers. That in turn became 292 chars of data which are all simple digits 0-9. Now, what will those decipher into?

thanks, gizmo !

and thanks for the diversionary time-waster !

I'll leave the solution for others to solve, as it must not be that hard to do so.

So, if you solve it, please acknowledge so here.

Here is a file with puzzle:

PS - moderators should move this to "Timewasters"

yeah, I meant to mention that sooner.

Can I ask: did anything I posted above give you a head start? I didn't reach the end yet, and now I regret leaving a trail of hints. Congratulations and well done!

catherwood, yes, your spoiler info above is on the right track, and did help me confirm that I was on the right track, as well.
