I saw a suggestion post on some site that I'm actually going to use. My next novel has nine different endings, and will be distributed in identical books (working with my editor on how to do it with digital books). I'm going to wait for a little bit after its release, to the point when all nine endings have been discovered before I unload the real troll: I'll post on one of my fan sites something along the lines of "So nobody's found the tenth ending yet, huh?"

(Yes, it is mean to my fans, but after a while of good-natured fun, I'll post all of the endings for everyone to read.)

Then we'd have the infinite postings of "What's the Real Ending" thread until someone gets into a huge angry fight over what the real ending is, then Troy has to come in and reveal the real ending. Either that or he'll just say "I'm done" and leave everyone to argue.

That's brilliant. It will drive web traffic long lonnnnng after the series ends.

Okay, it hasn't even been 3 weeks yet, but I'm getting antsy. Are we allowed to make predictions? Well, I'm going to anyway.

I predict #82 will have more action, be it literal action, or exposition that actually give us answers. Tim said he would follow in Jay's footsteps, correct? That means he'll probably go back to the college. Once there, he'll probably go back into those sewers, either on his own or in the process of chasing Hoody. Now, here's where it could get very interesting: back in #79 someone said that the manhole Jay called our attention to was important, and in #81 that proved true. Back in #31, he focused on one exactly like it in... Rosswood Park. Seriously, go back and watch it. Now. Remember how the College, Rosswood, and the Hospital are all close together? I bet Tim's going to charge into the sewer after Hoody. After several minutes of claustrophobia he'll see light ahead. He'll hurry forward, and when there's enough room he'll stand up and discover he just popped his head out of the maintenance tunnel in the hospital. And get jumped by Hoody while he's still in shock. And maybe Hoody'll finally give us some answers, but it'll be on his terms.

Or, alternatively: they really are done with the Hospital, so Tim will crawl through a manhole and find he's in the middle of Rosswood. In the process of wandering around lost, he'll find the 'disappearing' shack from #62 (the one they were looking for in #64)- and find Hoody inside waiting for him.

More likely, none of those things will happen; I have a pretty bad track record when it comes to predictions (how bad? I was sure Jay would be the only one who survived. That's how bad.). but what do you all think?

Why would they spend most of another entry in the exact same location as the previous one? And I don't know where people keep getting this idea that the college is near the park and the hospital. We know it's in the same area, that doesn't mean it's particularly close to them.

Also because more than half the time they go to a location that could have answers they get chased away, teleported, shot at, cough until they black out, and a combination of all of that and more which makes them leave. I'm sure a decent amount was left behind.

Yeah, there's still a possibility (though no guarantee) that further visits to the college could actually be fruitful. They could also be useless filler, but we haven't seen enough to be sure that they haven't missed something yet. Same applies to some of the other locations from over the course of the series.

No I mean the exact same location. We've just seen the college's sewer system in the last entry. In the hospital's case, we were at least seeing a bit of variety as to what parts were focused on, one entry to the next.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
And apparently Troy admitted the hospital was overexposed a bit anyway.

I take a break.

I come back.

And there is no more rage thread, only this.

Well, yes I am anticipating sure, but I'd also like to rage. Been far too long since I've posted my RAEG.

Anyway, I can see 1 more on campus next. We still haven't seen Tim find Jay's camera, so there might be something before then. Maybe not. I don't know. I can also see an entry where Tim in current time investigates the campus for anything that was missed.

I would like a change of scenery though. Not sure what exactly.

He finds it at the end of Entry #80.

Well... they haven't explored the room that emitted distortion yet (the one with the mattress on the table... I think?) and also the film department that flooded out (the one that the college employee mentioned). They really have only explored the college once (there were two entries, but the events were occurring simultaneously) so I imagine that there is more to be found.

After all, the setting isn't nearly as important as what actually occurs in the setting.

So the entry should be posted maybe tomorrow or the next day, based on how it usually goes when he uploads a screenshot.
