Spoiler (Rollover to View):
For once, I actually really liked this video, in comparison to the other EMH crossovers involving HABIT. This seemed to me like more of a return to what I see as the more terrifying portrayal of HABIT: an ancient entity who has years of experience breaking people, has made it an art, and who enjoys breaking people and inflicting pain upon them.
This video has renewed my love in EMH.

First note: HABIT lies. A lot. I'm not sure if we should believe a single thing that he said during the entire video, especially since it was all specifically directed towards breaking Shawn.

And next, all I can say is wow. It is obvious that HABIT had planned that entire interview from the beginning, knew exactly what he was going to say and when he was going to say it. The entire interview was constructed in the most effective way to break Shawn's faith in Michael, and, just as importantly, to break Shawn as a person. And I'm pretty sure that HABIT succeeded.

At this point, I'm less concerned with HABIT's individual actions, and more concerned with his endgame. What is his goal? What does he plan to gain out of this? HABIT isn't an idiot, he plans things out, as shown numerous times before. What is his greater plan?

EDIT: Obligatory statement about how I'm worried how Vinnie is helping HABIT do these things.

It would appear that HABIT is as interested in finding these "Hands" as Vinny is.

I'm not sure I can be bothered watching. I'd say why but obviously as EMH is free, that makes it immune to criticism. Also if I don't like it I shouldn't say anything, even though I did like it before they started all the recent crossover BS and am still hoping for a good ending.

Nothing is immune to criticism. It's whether the criticism is valid or not.

First, I will state an opinion: if you can't move your plot forward without using someone else's plot, you didn't put enough thought into your plot. The preceding statement was the personal opinion of SilentMedusa, YMMV, etc.

Now, something I actually did find interesting. As HABIT describes all the things Michael has done to protect himself, he says we might think Michael's a sociopath, but we'd be wrong because "only humans can be sociopaths." Combining that with HABIT'S talk of knowing Michael a lot longer than his own brother, and I have to ask: is Michael the same kind of entity as HABIT? Or the other way around? Of course, since we don't know what exactly HABIT is, that wouldn't tell us much anyway. And if they are the same, why does HABIT have abilities Michael doesn't? Is he just older and more experienced? Or has HABIT been dabbling in stuff Michael stayed away from? And most important of all, why is HABIT seemingly immune to Slender Man, while Michael is scared shitless and on the run from him?

Agreed, and this is one of the things which makes me feel that EMH has really lost me with this crossover stuff. I liked Dark Harvest's crossover with Tribe Twelve with Noah's visit to the Order because whilst it was clearly a useful way to advance the plot of both stories, at the same time both narratives were strong enough that if the crossover had never happened the stories could have kept going.

Conversely, it feels like that if they didn't have all this crossover stuff going on, EMH wouldn't have a plot at all any more. For me, at least, it's lost the sense that there's actually some momentum to this story and it's going to go somewhere eventually.

@awakeasaurusrex: Exactly. That's what I was trying to say, but you did a better job of articulating it.

Now, back to the video. Those clock hands. HABIT clearly wants them, but what is he going to do with them?

Note: someone briefly explained to me that in MLA there's a clock of some kind, and Michael broke it (hence the references to clock hands), and the clock being broken has made Slendy vulnerable in some way. That sums up my knowledge of the situation. If someone wants to elaborate on this, and extrapolate what it could mean that HABIT now wants those clock hands, that would be awesome.

This series will end in 2020, they don't even know what to do with their plot, all they have is HABIT and nothing else, imagine someone new to the game having to understand what the hell is going on at this point

I can't really agree with y'alls hate for the crossovers but to each their own. I think we should just accept that shit and move on to the actual videos like SilentMedusa here.

Yes, Medusa, you're pretty much dead on with the clock. What we have gathered from MLA is that Michael as a young boy broke the clock, unleashing a wave of mental illness and unexplained violence (most likely Patrick being awakened) upon himself and at the same time, as HABIT has now revealed, weakened Slendy without even knowing it. And as long as those hands are not on the clock, Slendy is far weaker than he could be right now, so my guess is HABIT is using this window of time (which is most likely small in the grand scheme of things and how HABIT views time) to acquire the hands and either destroy them or use them in some way to keep Slendy from getting that power back.

Phew! I thought I was the only one who caught this for a second there.
So...Vinnie's potential lifespan just decreased dramatically, I think. Is he required for HABIT to keep staying there, or was that partnership purely at HABIT's whim? The creature clearly knows its occult rules, that's for sure.

Not an exciting video, but, judging by Habit's reaction, what Vinny said was important.

I guess they heard our concern about Vinny just going along with HABIT's... proclivities.

I think Habit actually enjoyed having Vinny around, as kind of a friend. He did say before that the only friends he had were Slenderman and the Rake, but saying that I also think that Habit needs him right now, I doubt he made the partnership out of nowhere, I reckon it's all part of this plan. Maybe if Vinny dies the whole cycle restarts? Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Enjoyed the video though, showed us that Vinny has kinda gave up, which is sad to see.

Edit: Actually no, not gave up. Vinny has finally took a stand against Habit, even if it gets him killed.
