It's been shown enough times that HABIT will make good on his threats of physical violence... he just isn't doing it here because he would rather toy with and manipulate Noah than kill him, because he's the Collective's problem, not his.

Excuse me. Habit's threat appeal is MUCH deeper than just violence, he plans out his schemes. It's really refreshing seeing more of the intelligent cat-and-mouse playful side of him. It really fleshes out his character and makes his even more threatening. Knowing he has a plan is pretty terrifying.

THIS GUY GETS IT.

Why do people still see noah as the guy he was in season one tribetwelve? He's clearly changed into something that is a lot more like firebrand than Noah ever was. You forget that they have history together (HABIT/Firebrand)

So mayyybbeee HABIT has a ulterior motive for all of this and is just using noah/firebrand for his own gain. In which case killing him wouldn't do any good. Notice how in Severance after threatening to take his arm, HABIT them encouraged Noah/firebrand in a different way. Possibly because HABIT figured taking an arm would make him bleed out. (which sure wouldd ruin *my* pizza vibe, I'll tell you hwhut )

Noah spat in Habit's face, Habit turned back to him and basically went "Hahahaha, is that it?" We all know that Habit is a threat and now we know that Habit clearly wants Noah alive because if that was anyone he didn't like, Habit would of just tore their face off! Habit has a plan and he's sticking to it.

HABIT was on his best behaviour when he noticed the camera. Noah's trying to oppose stickman by finding some artifact, and I can see HABIT would have some vested interest in that.

I just got curious about something. Do we know if HABIT's ever possessed a woman?

Holy shit.

I don't think so, but I'm better at TT's mythos than EMH's. Anyone who knows more lore on HABIT than me wanna weigh in?

I don't think he's ever mentioned it...but it would be interest to see how that would turn out.

I always had an assumption that HABIT was a male (because even in his demonic voice, he sounds male-demonish). There's less female serial killers.

It would be interesting to see it though.

Well isn't it true that women are more inclined to use poison than to maim?

I think so...HABIT likes bloody stuff. Poison isn't that bloody.

There HAS been female psychopaths (there's one at the tip of my tongue...), but I'm not sure if that's HABIT's style. Slendy, on the other hand, is a lady's man. Look at him gawking at Steph and Jessica...abducting gals and dat...yeh Slendy's definantely a lady's man Cool

OK memes aside, yeah, I don't think HABIT's ever possessed a woman...interesting..

I always figured that was because, even with the "demon" voice, HABIT's using Evan's vocal cords. Wink

I get it, I just don't like it. Since HABIT isn't just a villain, he's a monster, so he is supposed to be scary to some degree... when he's serious, anyway. This video prevented him from being scary. And aside from that, this was still the first time a character has used (kind of) physical force to make a stand against HABIT. Even if HABIT didn't care, that's a pretty momentous thing for a character to do... and it wasn't even a character from HABIT's series.

I'm sorry you don't like it or think he was scary, especially since everyone else seems to think so. Habit DID care, because he has a PLAN, which is scarier to a lot of us since we don't know what it is. We know that Habit can kill and maim as much as he wants, but when he has something up his sleeve... that's WAY more frightening to me than just brute force.

For the record, HABIT's demon voice scares the heck out of me.

And did anyone else find it scary that HABIT cut off his sentence when he found out that he was being recorded? That he was about to say something that he didn't want us to know?

It's now more obvious than ever that HABIT has some kind of plan. And I agree with the other users that, whatever that plan is, it really scares me.
I personally believe that HABIT is working with the Tall Man and Firebrand to manipulate Noah. What if the Mining Town Four aren't the only pieces in HABIT's gambit?

EDIT: For everyone complaining about the "new powers," don't forget that Corenthal did something very similar to this with Vinnie. In fact, almost the exact same thing, except Corenthal chose to let Vinnie in his world, while HABIT did not choose to let Noah in his world.

Um, if you recall, when Corenthal met with Vin he was displaying a lot of the same behaviors as Habit... at also he turned purple a couple of times. Personally, I think that was Habit "wearing" Corenthal.

As to whether or not Habit can possess a woman... well, didn't we see Steph's hand holding Evan's knife in an EMH video? She was sliding it along the tabletop near Evan's games. Also, one of her paintings (before she even met the EMH guys) had purple tape on it.
