How Was the Ending? It had to be done eventually Now that we know it's over, I want to get the reviews in. Explanation of the options:
Unbelievable=Everything or nearly everything that you would expect from a good ending.
Operational=Typical ending, neither good nor bad.
Forgettable=Lousy ending.
Why didn't I use simpler terms? Because I was dead set on making puns about The Operator.

I still like the ending. The fact that soooo many things are left unanswered is not to be blamed on the ending. Except you wanted the ending to break the formant and be a 20min entry with Tim just talking and pointing out things...

I thought it was so-so. It wasn't bad, it was a nice wrap up to the series, but not what I was hoping for either. But I am sad to see it end in a way.

I would assert that asking about the ending sort of implies putting it into context with the rest of the series. Would I prefer an infodump? Maybe, but obviously, more answers along the way would have been most preferable.
This is why people kept criticizing the lack of plot development throughout the 3rd season.

Marble Hornets was a series marked by severe ambiguity and a lack of sufficient explanation for the seemingly random events that occurred throughout. The ending is a perfect example of this. Tim starts coughing hysterically around Jessica, then the video cuts to him driving, and then "Everything is fine." flashes on the screen and, with that, the series is concluded. If that didn't have you feeling like you missed something when you first saw it, then you likely understood the series at a far deeper level than most, or believed your own theories about the series and were happy living in a delusion.
Honestly, the ending was OK. I was sort of in disbelief at first, but now I've come to accept the fact that I should have seen this type of ending coming. The nature of this series dictated such an uneventful and ambiguous ending, and I should have known better.
Marble Hornets was like that girl who's your best friend but knows you're secretly attracted to her. She strings you along, throwing you a bone every once in awhile -- just enough to keep your interest going. You know she's just going to disappoint you in the end, but some part of you holds onto this delusional hope that things might work out if you hold in there long enough. And then it happens -- she disappoints you, and although you're upset about it, you're not all that surprised. That's basically what Marble Hornets was to me.

I didn't like it much at first, but then I gave it some thought and realised what it implies, and now I think it's good.
I wish we saw more of the Dark Place, though.

I had a "friend" like that, until I wisened up and cut off all contact.

None of those options really fit. I think the ending worked just fine.

I think the ending was decent. While it would be nice to have some of the lingering questions answered, the good thing about the ambiguous nature of the ending is that it leaves us plenty to discuss.

I kind of wish the poll had five options instead of just three. I'm somewhere between Unbelievable and Operational.

"Forgettable" is the exact word I have for this ending. Still going to love the atmosphere of the series.

Meh, it was a good ending, but I'd prefer more questions to be answered (like what the hell The Ark is). There should have been more text at the end of the video, rather than "Everything is fine."

I hold out some hope that the movie will explain what the ark is. Yes I know the movie is a separate set of events but it's still TO and I think the ark has more to do with him then it does Brian.
