Is an unlocked car door really that important? Have we really nothing else to talk about now?

they don't give us anything to really talk about, so people get bored and start talking about things that would never actually matter in the series. can't blame em

Do you think Hoody jumped into the sewer/maintane tunnel in front of Tim because he saw Alex was free and armed so he was GTFO mode or was he maybe made aware of the Operator's presence?

User Marble Hornets: I have a serious question.

Why do you watch this series? No, really, why?

If there is no content in this series that you can not have a negative view on, then why continue to invest your time in watching the entries? I wouldn't understand trying to invest my time in something that I think is produced poorly. I watch the entries because I generally love them, even when they aren't so called "WHAM" episodes. Entry #81 went back to the old-style of Marble Hornets, with creepy environments and similtanious footage. Entries such as this one remind me of Season 1. Don't get me wrong, I love entries that move the storyline forward, but I feel that these are necessary to keep that "Marble Hornets" feeling going.

Just get some more hobbies or something if you really hate this series that much. It isn't difficult.

I'm not sure. When Hoody looks around and is seen on camera, he looks relaxed, or at least not frightened or stressed to me. Don't know why he's in such a hurry though.

If I were to assume that he is fleeing Alex, this would point to (albeit not proof that) Hoody released Alex intentionally and really set this up.

However, even then it could still be that Alex just freed himself, rather than Hoody releasing Alex at that point of time. Because if he did, it would be an open question of why at that specific point of time, when Jay was watching AND Tim was close to entering.

Maybe, just maybe, Tim was messing up Hoody plan (unintentionally). Hoody released Alex once he made sure Jay was still watching, or became aware of Jay's watching. He hoped for some case in that Alex left Benedict Hall while Jay watched him, so that Jay would have had an edge over Alex. However, Tim stumbled into the place, alarmed Jay and therefore lured him into Benedict Hall. So the "This was not supposed to happen" would apply to multiple contexts.

(I'm assuming all this, because I feel Hoody not working actively against Alex, but even in his favor, would be such a major twist, that I don't see an explanation for this. However, feel free to convince me otherwise.)

Well I guess that answers how Hoody got into Tim's car. Doesn't answer Jay's original question about how he got into his car though.

"It's not hard to break into cars in a short amount of time. Several times I've had to get into mine. All you need is a lever and a long coat hanger, both of which can easily be concealed in a pants pocket. Even the small damage to the paint where you pry open the door is hardly noticeable if done right."

I'll just leave this right here.

Yeah but he doesn't use a clothes hanger or whatever in 41 he just opens the door, like we see it on camera. He just opens it. Anyway my point isn't that I give a shit about unlocked car doors, I couldn't care less about that. My point is its not like Hoody opening locked stuff inexplicably is some kind of new inconsistency we should harp on. He's always doing that. We don't have to start calling Tim stupid cause Hoody opened his car door, there's a million other rationales. Also, it doesn't matter.

My post was more about why Tim doesn't make sure all his doors and windows are locked (Hoody climbed through an unlocked window in #61. The whole internet saw it. And yet, in #73 he's able to climb in through the same window. WTF? If the problem was the lock being broken, Tim should've nailed it shut.), but I do have a theory on why he didn't have his pills on his person: He was planning on sneaking around in a place he wasn't supposed to be, and didn't want a rattling pill bottle to give him away.

In Entry #61 Tim barely knows what's going on. He's only just found out right before 59. He has no reason to believe anyone is climbing in his windows, he doesn't need to be genre savvy there.

OHHHH forgot he just kinda opened the door in 41. You have to remember though they hadn't dealt with Hoody directly much by then. I would almost say that 's another bit of plot induced stupidity.

Yeah exactly. I mean Jay questions why his own past selves door was just unlocked or whatever on the Twitter feed and it's kinda like, are they trying to say Hoody is particularly adept at opening locked car doors for some reason? Like why is Troy even having Jay point this out so much? But yeah I mostly just meant that there's precedent for very similar things happening to this so I'm hardly shocked Hoody got into Tim's car.

To DHawk: yes, in entry #61 he was unaware. But later Hoody climbed through the same window in #73. Why, in the time between the two entries, did Tim not secure that window?

He quit staying there. He abandoned his home and went on the run with Jay. Also, hard to worry about securing entrances/exits when TO can just teleport in if he wants.

Tim was back at home after that though so he didn't abandon it.

This same question could also be asked about his door after he left Jay tied up. It wasn't locked.

Anyways, I don't think the issue here really is the unlocked car but more why he didn't take his pills and keep them on his person.

Alex was living there, maybe he unlocked everything as part of his trap. I actually think Ztakk hit the nail on the head when he labeled it as plot induced stupidity.

Its a pretty minute and irrelevant plot hole in the end.

So, previously, I voiced a concern for the possibility that Tim didn't have the chest cam on because I wasn't able to find a still that absolutely confirmed he was wearing it. I didn't say it was out of the realm of possibility, I just said I wasn't able to confirm it and wanted to know if we could leave that up in there air until we had more concrete proof.

This entry gave me the concrete proof I wanted.
