Led's video also established something interesting: The point at which the sickness overcomes Tim completely and he passes out is almost simultaneous with TO showing up to take Jay.

Not really, as it doesn't push anything forward. Tim can always get more pills, his doctor's not just going to cut him off. They should be catering to hardcore fans over casual ones anyway given how much lore there is in the series.

Hardcore fans? What exactly is a "hardcore fan" of marble hornets? And why should trosephim cater to this small group of so-called "hardcore fans?"

Being a casual watcher or a hardcore has nothing to do with whether or not this was filler. None of my friends are as hardcore watchers as I am and we've still reached a general consensus that the entry was really unneeded.

As for getting more pills this really could be a case of Tim only being able to get pills after (x) amount of days. Several prescriptions that people have to take over a long period of time. They get a supply for something like 30 days (number is arbitrary) and can only refill them every 30 days. In the case of an emergency of the pills getting stolen/ruined/whatever, many times the patient has to see their doctor to get a refill. This is mostly to ensure that people aren't hoarding the meds, selling them, etc.

Well we all have different opinions about this entry, i think it was close to be a filler entry except the fact that the scare factor was high during the entire entry, but Tim could have Twitted ''I'm out of pills'' and it would have the same result

I have to agree. After watching 79-81, and noticing that Tim was the one who uploaded the previous one, all I can think about is how he got the camera back and why would he go back there with no backup....

 		I'm just going to make a list. This is what I gleaned from this entry:

• Alex has not been pretending to be Hoody. Hoody was really there too. So the Hoody we saw swing a wrench at Jay, is the same Hoody it's always been.
• Explanation for how the door magically got unlocked and how Tim got into Benedict hall.
• Confirmation that Tim was, indeed, using the chest cam.
• Explanation as to why Tim didn't go back after hearing the gunshot.
• Tim learned how to do overlay text. :V

Wouldn't have worked, since this entry seemed to confirm that someone (Hoody, most likely) deliberately stole Tim's pills to make sure he was out of commission on Benedict Hall Day long enough for Jay to get capped and teleported. To say nothing of the fact that Masky may now have had a part in setting up the encounter.

On another note,

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I thought it was really interesting to see another "ancillary character" (that grounds worker) show up in MH. Every time that happens (Bruce, non-Hoody hooded guy, antiques store lady) in the series something just feels a bit "off," because we've spent so much time with this small cast of characters we forget that there's actually a living, breathing world going on outside their Operated bubble. It creates a very surreal feeling and definitely seems to be channeling the Lovecraftian feeling of being trapped in your own little story just outside the rest of the world.

 		I still do not believe that Hoody wanted Jay to die. Its possible that Jacob was just an outside source that happened to let Alex loose only to be killed by Alex right afterward off camera. If Hoody wanted Jay and Tim to die it could have been done entries ago.

Did Hoody set this entire thing up? Most likely. Did he expect this type of an outcome? Probably not.

Although, it does seem odd that Hoody, being as clever as he is, did not consider a contingency plan incase he plan did not succeed. Unless by this point he was cocky and all hell and thought he could get away with everything.

One thing that bothers me is the presence of TO to Tim, but he ignores him to the point where his existence is not even recognized by Tim. This has happened in previous entries too I believe.

Because that's what it is. This entry IS filler. We knew Alex wasn't pretending to be Hoody as of 80. Tim using the chest cam wasn't important in the least. Before 81 came out, we had no idea as to whether or not Tim was even heard the gunshot in the first place.

I'm sounding like a broken record, but all this entry told us was that Tim is out of pills and that could have easily been put into a tweet or at least a .5 video.

Also random thought. People were talking about something on a gurney in the basement in 80? As JAL13 said, maybe Jacob found Alex and set him free and Alex killed him off-camera and put his body there. Though I think that if that were the case The Operator would have taken him. Either way though whether he killed Jacob or not is probably not important.

 		More speculation: Perhaps Hoody was out of breath during the encounter with Jay in 79 because he had just seen Tim's car, sprinted out to steal the pills, then sprinted back inside?

Could be out of fear; Tim of all people has the most pathological reason to want to avoid the Operator's presence, possibly even to the point of subconsciously doing so.

Possibly, though it also seems very likely that Hoody needed Jay to drag Tim back into the circle since Tim has a stronger connection to both the Operator and Hoody himself. He certainly wasn't going to come back of his own volition. Once that was accomplished and Jay started going crazy Hoody either viewed him as expendable/a liability, or (if this theory ends up holding water) deliberately sent him to the ark.

I like this as a possible explanation for why Hoody lost his cool in #79 and went wrench-happy on Jay, despite having been the one to cut him loose: he hadn't planned on a helpful maintenance guy cutting Alex loose, and all his plans had just gone pear-shaped.
