Well oriruserku.org/sqlk/cry/0503 displays this:

It looked initially to me like the "key" is a substitution cipher, showing the new "order" of the alphabet. However, while I didn't take the time to do the whole string, I was just getting gibberish. They're obviously related, though.

It is a keyed Vigenere cipher.
Alphabet Key: lzxywfdhjksmqpecvbnrtgoiua
Passphrase: AAOIXC
decodes to:
FREQUENCYSIXTWOONEFIVEKHZ
I ended up asking LAINSY about it, but a simple Google search of "6215 KHz" indicates it is one of the high-frequency (HF) maritime voice frequencies for long-distance distress calls.
Cool, huh? I'm not quite sure what we're supposed to do with it though.

 		New post up on twitter. Looks like something in the vexill alphabet from earlier and then a block of crypted regular text after that. When i tried to convert the vexill to english it still seemed like a jumble of nonsense. There dont seem to be any vowels after the first one.

 		I asked LAINSY to monitor the frequency 6215 KHz for any FAILTECH or unusual communication. It took a day but here's what it came up with:

Triangulation of the source resulted in no results as the signal strength seems to be nearly equal at all broadcast receiving points with just slight variation of about 0.002+/- decibels across points. I attempted transcribing the transmission and all I was able to transcribe are the words "preventive counter measures will be deployed" and "do not attempt escape ... please remain calm". Due to the limitation of my transcription ability and the severely low receiving level of the transmission, I decided to send a copy of the transmission to you attached to this email. The signal has been boosted, but had also increased the noise levels.


The mp3 was attached. There's a lot of background noise so I can't make out too much of the words, but I'll see if I can clean it up a bit.

EDIT: Okay so I attempted to clean up the audio but there's a bit too much reverb for me. Instead, here's what I hear:

 		Anyone had any luck with the newest code posted up on twitter?

All i could think to do was convert the numbers at the top into letters, bdac, but then no idea. The dash in the line below the numbers throws me off. The bottom chunk looks like a vigenere again possibly, but im stuck.


Also have started querying lainsy about connecting to repertum. In "it all started" tiana talks about thinking that lainsy isnt responding because there isn't anyone back home to respond. Maybe we can get lainsy to connect to the ship and help the crew?

So here's what I've been up to so far:

First off, there's a new log entry from Kalvin Zior (dated SOL 0506-3678).

I spoke with Rion Gnute under the guise of a reporter and learned more info about the crew of the ship and the status of Project Repertum. Either he's being professional or he honestly doesn't know if anything is wrong.

I suggest you try asking LAINSY to do anything you think might help! I have been in talks with LAINSY about setting up a radio communication link but optimized with Negative Space communication (since radio comm is only light-speed while Neg Space is faster-than-light). This seemed to trigger some new characters from FAILTECH and the Galactic Union who contacted me and I am in the process of explaining the situation.

The person from the Galactic Union used the email hubSPLATterran.systems and so I got curious and I think I found a new in-game website: http://terran.systems/. I haven't explored much of it but it looks to be more of an explanation of the Galactic Union.

Also, probably irrelevant, but terran.systems is really http://sqlk.oriruserku.org Adding the endings on to that web address work just as well. So terran.systems is just a mask for more parts of oriruserku.org site.

ETA: Some of the pages for terran.systems don't seem to be up and running yet, however they don't produce errors either, just blank pages.

i have asked lainsy for a file of the foreign digital transmission.

Maybe this also could point to another way to clean up the audio file from earlier? Maybe the noise, isn't really "noise". Maybe it's an overlaid signal? Don't know how to check that out, and maybe i just watched too much Contact when i was younger...

 		Got an email from LAINSY last night:

The raw recording of the broadcast in the 6 minute activation window of the Hyperdimmensional gate is attached. Additional information from the broadcast was received and logged. I believe I can perform a risky move to establish a solid real-time communications link to the RMSS via the Hyperdimmensional gate through a Negative Space communications probe. I will attempt to perform this operation on the next gate activation window.

I've attached the mp3 attachment, which is a 6-minute audio file. Here's what the gist of it is:
  • First minute or so: same automated message as heard previously
  • 1:40 - Unknown crew member talking to Tiana Vel (who is not heard), he is asking if he should turn off something
  • 2:30 - After some digital noise, it sounds like an RMSS AI emergency recorded message:

    This is S7-RX-A000A02 Repertum Mobile Science Station of FAILTECH and the Galactic Union broadcasting in the known emergency frequency, requesting emergency assistance from any receiving party. Universal Coordinate 0 Z-743-00-00-AXO.
  • 4:14 - More digital noise, and then it's like it reverts back to the regular alarm message that is heard at the beginning of the audio.
  • 5:30 - SOMETHING BAD. ALARMS. "IMPENDING HULL BREACH WARNING. MOVE TO SAFTEY."
  • 5:42 -
