Don't know if everyone got it, but I got this email from Y, the one who cut in at the end of Ryan Gnute's last email:

Quote:
How's it going?

I am using a messaging conduit to send this message through a messaging provider that you recognize. I believe there has been an overlap, and thus I am taking precautions as well as taking a step forward. I will be in further contact. Now you know how to contact me. This messaging bridge will only be available for limited periods. I wish to make best of the bridge.

- Y

I emailed them back asking a bunch of questions. We'll see where that goes.

I had the same trouble posting it too. Yes, someone did already post about it. None if us have publicly deciphered it though.

I had issues with this from a previous post. I think what you need to do is check the "Disable HTML in this post" and it should work for you.

Anyway, I think I mentioned that oriruserku.org updated back in this post. There was some encrypted stuff at the end that looked interesting:
Quote:
Data unrecognized, as follows:
** RAW DATA BEGIN **
eorgZatoiZlrusrZrkudtZosqkZ34152----
AFBBBBFBBFBBBFDFBBFBBBFDFABAAFAAAFBB
AFBABFDFBBBFBBFAABFABFBAFBABB-------
** RAW DATA END **

So here's what I think I found on this:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The line "eorgZatoiZlrusrZrkudtZosqkZ34152----"
remove the "Z"s and you get:
eorgatoilrusrrkudtosqk34152
which anagrams to:
sqlk at oriru serku dot org 12345
I don't know about the numbers but sqlkSPLAToriruserku.org seems like a valid email address. I've emailed it but I haven't heard from it so maybe the numbers are meaningful.

The line "AFBBBBFBBFBBBFDFBBFBBBFDFABAAFAAAFBBAFBABFDFBBBFBBFAABFABFBAFBABB"
It is actually Morse code where A=-(dash), B=.(dot), F=space (between letters) and D=space (between words). It translates to:
THIS IS YOUR SIGNAL

Neat huh? But I don't know what else to do with it. Maybe this Y character knows.

Got this today:

Quote:
The communications bridge is compromised. There's a file you can intercept from the Output Dump called 3678-RX-BPW2.nst. Retrieve it, and I may answer your questions.

- Y

Hoping to have time to look for this tomorrow, but not sure.

I've just been going back through the posts looking for unsolved items. The tweet from May 25 with the link to http://terran.systems/secure/L0/3678-hedo-A9.rep leads to another keyed vignere cipher.

Using RUSTYD and OGBARK (from the tweet) as the alphabet key and pass-phrase, and using this handy decoder: http://rumkin.com/tools/cipher/vigenere-keyed.php we get:

Nice solve, oli!

Some new updates on the websites. Looks like LAINSY is in trouble.
lainsy.net wrote:
SOL 0606-3678 P-02 :: PROCESS ERROR! A VIRUS HAS BEEN DETECTED! SELF-DEFENCE MODULES ACTIVATED.

SOL 0606-3678 P-03 :: SYSTEM INTRUSION DETECTED. LEVEL DEFENCE MODULES ACTIVATED.

SOL 0607-3678 P-D3 :: DEFENCE MODULE FAILURE. EMERGENCY COUNTERMEASURES ACTIVATED!

SOL 0607-3678 P-D4 :: System-wide isolation automation activated.

Also an update on http://oriruserku.org:
Quote:
[BRIDGE ERROR - NODE INTERRUPT]

-- VIRAL SAMPLE
** SEQUENCE BEGIN **

P_*B8i/D-1.al&:,H'C7l)r"9iY1^6W$HD85
;iZ7nZD
** SEQUENCE END **
So that weird stuff between the "SEQUENCE"s is interesting.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
This is easy to figure out if you are familiar with the awesome ASCII decoder at http://paulschou.com/tools/xlate/.
Decoded as ASCII85 you get:
IFZUI5TYEAVFERDTEUQHWRJ3IFMEIO2VJ45X2IDEN4XGG33SMUUECQJDHNLVGKI
Decode as Base 32:
AsDvx *RDs% {E;AXD;UO;} do.core(AA#;WS)
which is nonsense to me, but seems to be like the code found in http://sqlk.oriruserku.org/secure/L0/3678-mnex.lmtx.

More new updates. First off, the Twitter feed updated. Tweet 1 Tweet 2

As the new tweets say, there are two new files posted in the terran.systems/secure directory:
http://sqlk.oriruserku.org/secure/L0/3678-dat-bak.rep
http://sqlk.oriruserku.org/secure/L1/3669-0214-2E7.IMG64

The second file is easy enough to figure out if you know what you're looking at and if you take a look at the URL.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It's an image, specifically a PNG file image, encoded as a base 64 string.
This website helps to encode/decode these types of strings: http://www.motobit.com/util/base64-decoder-encoder.asp
Under "what to do with source data", select decode.
Under "output data", select export to binary file, and name it something like image.png.
Then click the "convert source data" button and the PNG file will be downloaded. What you get is an interesting image (see attachment).

And the scrambled text (3678-dat-bak.rep) translates to:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
There's been a mistake in the routing system as it appears the data dump has been routing content into the war archives.
We Are Ready said the archive organization, but I doubt that.
we are ready. we are ready.
That dump routing is just plain annoying.
Why would the output dump be routed into the war archives?
That organization is just wrong.

Aha MrToasty! That explains a lot coz I found out what "wm-rxaupxmimtrd/gpf.m/s-l" from the last tweet means!
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It is a railfence cipher with 4 rails (0 offset):
war/dump/sgx-mp-firm.lmtx
I had thought this was a link in the terran.systems or oriruserku site for a while but then I realized from your solve that
war = we are ready

so now we have a new site: http://weareready.org/
and more specifically we have: http://weareready.org/dump/sgx-mp-firm.lmtx

Got this email from Derre Kan - derrekanSPLATgmail.com:

Quote:
Y has sent me to contact you. I will be assisting in retrieving the
other file.

I was informed that the other file was screened and will not be acquired
from the dump. There has been another agent working against us. The
communications bridge is starting to degrade and the frequency at which
we can synchronize messages are further apart. I am hoping to get this
done sooner.

I am hitting a road block regarding some details I have no access to,
despite the massive library of information we and the union have. I am
particularly interested in some details regarding the archive of the
Order of the Night. It contains a particular encryption key of which the
communications bridge had been using since it was established. I believe
you are from this particular period, correct?

You might be curious, but the communications bridge is neutral
communications system created by agents of Oriru Serku. It has been
shared with a select individuals particularly Genus Orein as he traveled
across the universe. The bridge has proven to be very stable due to the
additional nodes that he was able to establish on several points. Most
significantly, the bridge is very stable due to the anchor node placed
on LAINSY by his wife Emily. LAINSY has then been a central backbone of
the bridge. This was made possible by the existence of LAINSY. However,
a preventive measure against attacks Genus Orein was able to establish a
defensive time travel barrier for that particular era preventing agents
to jump in, and thus why I am encountering a road block.

This is where you come in. The archive, based on the relative spacetime
transmission coordinate where this message is sent to, has been recently
shutdown or is going to be shutdown. Before the archive is lost, I am
hoping you can acquire the encryption key for me. I do not know how, but
I believe a person named Adiu should be able to assist. That's as far as
the information I have on hand leads me to.

I will be back in contact on the next synchronization.

- DK

Unfortunately i dont have as much time at the moment so hopefully it will help someone out.

Oh, I didn't realize that Adiu would be making an appearance. So for those who weren't involved in the last episode, Adiu is not an actual person, it is the archiving AI for this secret organization called Nox Ordo (or "The Order of the Night", which DK was referring to in his email). Adiu is similar to LAINSY but somewhat limited in capability. The name "Adiu" stands for Advanced Database Indexing Utility.

In the last episode we had managed to gain access to Adiu and retrieve information from the Nox Ordo archive database. We were found out, and the leader of the Nox Ordo tried to shut Adiu down, but only succeeded in cutting Adiu off from the database. To keep Adiu from being shut down permanently, we helped it to secretly migrate to another Nox Ordo-related network. Around that time the game started spiraling downward so we never did learn what became of Nox Ordo or Adiu.

Communicating with Adiu is similar to talking to LAINSY, but Adiu's email is systemSPLATnoxordoarchives.org. I just sent an email asking for its status and got this reply:
Adiu wrote:

There's a new tweet that points to an mp3 file: http://weareready.org/dump/3678-0621-unknown.mp3

I'm at work today so hopefully someone else is available to decode?

ETA: For curiosity sake I tried playing the file through the SSTV app I have on my phone, but it couldn't auto-detect the SSTV mode to use, so I'm not sure whether I have issues with the decode or the file has issues. Can anyone else do a quicklook on this and confirm?
