I'm starting to think that it's not so much "shifting." Rosswood's geometry is either just non-euclidian or otherwise extradimensional, ie hypercube. I mean think about it, if a 2d drawing started walking around in our world, it probably wouldn't make much sense to it either.

Haven't read through the whole thread, sorry, may be a repetition.

If the Operator takes people in physical pain and turns it into a mind-erasing hatred, which he did with Alex and Masky repeatedly (pills then cured Tim a little), Jay is not just alive, but will be back soon to attack Tim. This theory explains why Alex didn't aim at the Jay's head - he didn't want to repeat the mistake of killing the Operator's minion candidate (Bruce). Also, their 2006 "hit me in the head with a pipe" tag game.

May be ironical, if it started with Tim's real illness (seizures), then TO made him hit Alex, then made corrupted Alex damage other members of the cast, and now Tim's back for Alex thinking of himself as of an innocent victim.

So, I was thinking, if Tim receives Jay's call in the future, what the hell is going to happen if he actually answers?

Great entry! Some questions were answered, that's good. Some things:

1. I agree that well is likely a part of Rosswood sewer system which connects park, college, abandoned hospital and city. It serves as transportation for Hoody and explains his familiarity with the area. College flood, water motives, Arc, Tim being dragged through water, sewers. I think that final revelation would be right there in the heart of cold, moist darkness of sewers and flooded basements.

2. It's unlikely that TO was produced by Rosswood. I think that it's TO who shapes and distorts Rosswood instead. However there is no way to say for sure (as always in Marble Hornets, nothing is clear)

3. The call was misdirected/deleted/corrupted/absorbed by TO. Tim could have lied, but there is no logical reason for him to do so. Of course he could have been Masky at the time or Hoody deleted the message, but TO involvement is more likely.

4. I am still against Hoody = future Jay theory and sci-fi time travel theories for meta reasons and this entry gave no proof to either. TO distorts reality, space and time, sure, but turning time backwards is a whole new level and we have not seen that. If call message would have appeared earlier than when it was recorded by Jay - yes, that would have been a proof of time travel. If it will appear later - it only proves that TO can mess with signals.

5. Good catch on TO taking more and more of Alex's features. Combine it with seen evidence of Alex becoming more and more TO-like. Implications are... Unpleasant, to say the least.

6. TO does have the goal.

An easy explanation is that Tim didn't see his phone, and before he could check the message, it was somehow deleted off of his phone as well as the call history.

Another thing nobody has pointed out yet was that when Jay crosses over, at one point the area looks somewhat like the area from the second half of entry 43

Which would mean that if going through the tunnel somehow changes the layout of rosswood, Alex didn't enter it for a reason and instead went the "back way" from a different entrance to rosswood

While it is possible that for every person that goes across the tunnel at once, a different quadrant of the park is shifted into the area on the other end of the tunnel, and even though that could explain why hoody and tim brought jessica there (wanted to try 3 ppl) or why masky wanted jay to follow him (2 cross overs), I find that highly far fetched.

Who knows though. If it turns out they need 4 people to cross over, it would obviously have to be Hoody, Tim, Alex, and a returning Jay. I don't know how much I buy into my own theory here though.

Great entry. It reminded me a lot of Sidenote, where totheark calls Alex and gets his voicemail. Perhaps totheark was in this part of Rosswood at the time that happened.

It's possible Hoody broke into Tim's house and deleted the voicemail from his phone. That would be the mundane explanation that doesn't invoke supernatural powers.

With respect to the shack graffiti: Jay mentions that he thinks he's seeing things that can't actually be there, so maybe in his panic he went in hardcore denial about seeing the operator sign plus huge J?

On the call: I agree that Tim probably forgot it. I suspect that part of the reason he's taken to using the chest cam all the time is because he's realised that anything he doesn't tape he might forget.

PS: Prediction for next TTA: since Hoody has been following and taping Tim as well, perhaps we see some footage of Tim listening to the voice mail and deleting it. After all, TTA does love to accuse people of lying...

I've noticed the hill around the tunnel isnt very high.... why doesn't anyone just walk OVER the tunnel?
