You know...maybe we do need to wait. If this truly is the last totheark entry, then it must have a very important message that would answer many of our most dying questions. The code does seem a little unfinished. A bunch of letters and some numbers? There's just gotta be more to it then unscrambled letters. I can't even find a pattern of value in all of this.

Perhaps we'll just have to wait until the next entry, which, after the slightly filler entries 81 and 82, is gonna be a doozy.

To me, a bunch of letters and numbers doesn't seem like it would provide enough answers to be an answer to questions that we have been dying to hear for years now. I mean, if we do solve it, the most we will get is a few words. I also have a feeling this is probably the 2nd last (or maybe even 3rd last) tta and so this, when decoded, will not provide much information at all. I think that it may be another one of them teasing comments like 'you are blind' or 'he knows your secret' or something along those lines - tta always leaves little messages like that. On top of that, I feel like a message like this would have been solved by now. But maybe I'm wrong... or maybe it will get to the point where Tim helps us over on Twitter, like Jay did for another tta.

Yeah you might be right about it being the third or second to last totheark entry because it honestly doesnt seem like it says much. But it's still pretty peculiar that we haven't figured it out yet.

I'll say it again. It's probably so obvious that everyone is overlooking it.

So? What exactly are we overlooking? I did my best unscrambling the words, but that's the extent of my abilities.

lol at Entries 81 and 82 being considered filler.

Just wondering, does anybody think that the codes repeating is of any importance?

I am quite convinced that the number of repetitions is very important, I just can't figure out how.

Also, I have a feeling its import that the letters were replacing each other, so that the sequences of importance are "IRS78M" and the like. Though, even following this line of reasoning, base64 transformations don't yield anything I can find.

I came here hoping the code would be cracked already but after reading all the pages I see it's not yet.

I'm also surprised no one else has thought to use the operator symbol as representing an X or an O and just meant to throw us off.

I'm not very good at cracking codes but when you consider one user suggested each sequence is someone's name and Alex's could not be spelled out due to the absence of an 'X,' it changes that if it were a stylized way to write that missing character.

It's worth considering in my opinion. I highly doubt the sequence with it is meant to spell 'Brian' and I think the term "Mr Wit" with "MRWIT" is purely coincidence.

I don't think they're anagrams at all due to the presence of the numbers as well.

What about both an O *and* an X? Perhaps hinting that they occur at the same place in the puzzle.

I was looking into some codes and trying to see if anything worked for them and while it didn't work, some codes omit Qs in the cyphers and commonly combine J and I so I considered maybe O and X stood for the same letter to save space.

There's also some codes that you cannot solve without another piece and if what Troy said about us needing a later code for one puzzle to solve an earlier message, this could be that time indeed.

I definitely feel as though it's definitely not just an operator symbol and the idea that it embodies both O and X would make perfect sense both in the world of codes as well as within the symbol itsself.

edit; i also entertained the idea that 'regards" could be a keyword to solve it after some research on codes but I'm not very skilled in deciphering things so I can't make much sense from it.

That sort of resonates with this video, in which certain places in the sentences had words changed while the sentences were being displayed. So it could mean two things: one when the X was used, and another when an O is used...or else a zero.

Agreed although I think an O is more likely since the symbol IS a circle rather than an oval (and thus, a 0) but it'd be worth trying both.

There is also curiously an X in the code already so I wondering if its one of those codes where a character at the beginning of a code doesn't mean the same at the end of the sequence? Assuming we're not wrong about it.

I'm just saying in general we might be over-thinking the entire code. People are going deeper and deeper into the code, but maybe the answer isn't at 20,000 leagues because no one has come up with anything solid. Possibly, it was back near the surface and everyone passed it up thinking it was deeper than it was.
