The first time i watched it i had the feeling it was Hoody who was teleporting them in order to confuse Tim. I had the same sensation about Hoody being surprised on seeing Jay at Tims house tho, so im starting to go with the theory it was the Operator messing up with space/time.

I also assumed Hoody wanted to get injuried so the Operator could take him to the Ark. And started wondering if thats how the footage gets when they are in masky/hoody state. Maybe Hoody had a lot of things to show but couldnt thanks to Operator trolling his footage and we all thought he was simple insane while editing his videos.

Just realized this has been sitting here for like a week and I haven't seen it yet.

So many entries it's hard to keep track and wow

The most interesting thing I noticed was how Tim went straight for Hoody's pockets, not his mask- maybe he already knows who it is.

Because without his pills he would pass out and either lose his sanity or die. That's more important than learning who Hoody is. And he does reach for the mask after he has the pills, he just stops because of The Operator appearing.

I think I agree with what others have posted about the chase scene being more like returning to key spots that the Operator has been, especially since that one scene where Tim's being pulled along looks like the time he was taken to that place where OP takes his victims, can't remember which episode that was right now.

What I'm wondering is did Tim actually get to see who Hoody was? From the flashes, it looked like they showed him pulling off the mask before Hoody actually fell, then he tried two more times only to be interrupted by the Operator.

Is it just me, or is the Forest around 3:03 look all burned up?

.....or maybe staying conscious was more important than unmasking Hoody.

Hey, the way Tim get pulled through the doors by a seemingly invisible force... Does that confirm Jay got sucked toward TO in 52 and Jessica in 76?

As for #52, I think it is confirmed.

More important question: What are the implications of the fact that behind the much dreaded doors lies Tim's apartment with a seemingly dead Jay inside?

[far-fetched theory]

the doors represent tim's mind, and what's on the other side is whatever he fears most.

As a child when he was in the institution, they were probably doors to the operating room, which Tim feared the most as a child. Big scary men with doctor's masks and protective gear sedating, and operating on him as a child would be very scary.

A delusional, and young tim would probably not recognize them as human, and think they were faceless monsters who knock him out and mess with his brain when he's asleep...just like The Operator. Tim was going crazy from the institutionalization, surgery, and medication he was on. He didn't know the difference between the people trying to help him, and the monster making his life hell.

That's when the Operator offered tim a way out of the hospital...the only catch was that the operator could make Tim do his bidding as masky. The Operator burned down the hospital, freeing tim.

After this, tim lead a fairly normal life, repressing his childhood memories. However, when he got involved with Alex, and the whole marble hornets thing, TO started making him attack his friends as masky, and do other fucked up shit to them(like the dead animals on alex's lawn, Jay's apartment, etc.) this is when Tim started going back on his meds, thus starting a mental war with TO.

The operator then switched targets to alex, in order to get Tim back under his control, he had to use Alex this is where the season 1 tapes start.

What? That discussion was discussing about the "Alex Kralie's Marble Hornets" trailer on if it was canon or not. Decad was talking about The Operator movie coming out. Troy said it takes place in the same universe.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Ah, good point. I guess I didn't read closely enough. The movie does indeed take place in the same universe as this series. I still don't think we should read too much into it though, especially since it hasn't actually been released yet.

What if this entry happened around the time when Tim passed out in Entry 81? Maybe that's why there's nothing on the twitter about it and there doesn't seem to be any subtext to it. He went into his Masky phase after he passed out and then all this happened. Somewhere though, he managed to be Tim again when he refused the mask and had his memories of what happened wiped. Hoody or The Operator must have taken the tape and posted the video on their youtube as a message.

I don't think this could have happened immediately following Entry #81 because in Entry #82 he's still missing his pills. I think this entry happened after Null was posted.

What I'm now wondering about is why Tim was in that building. I have a few guesses:
* He was desperately looking for Jay, or clues to explain what happened to Jay. That would explain why he visited Jay's lookout spot in Entries #79 and 80, and him calling out for Jay when he heard footsteps.
* He managed to crack the code in Null, or Hoody contacted him in some way to lure him there with the promise of returning his pills.
* He was teleported there (unlikely).

STAND BACK! I'M GOING TO THEORIZE!

Why would Hoody climb out that window and set himself up for a bad fall? I think it ties into how he gets around. You know all those times someone was chasing him and he seemed to just disappear? I never believed he was teleporting; rather, I thought he was a master of using his environment.

Here's what I think his plan was: he would climb out and hang down, out of Tim's line of sight. Tim, not realizing this, would run down the stairs. while he was doing so, Hoody would pull himself back up and crouch down, hiding behind the wall and listen for Tim to leave the area. Then Hoody would sneak up and jump Tim from behind.

Only Hoody didn't move quite fast enough and Tim saw him and took a swing at him, causing him to lose his grip and fall.

ETA: in entry #15, Tim says that Brian told him someone was leaving dead animals in Alex's front yard.

uhh i have to disagree with you on that, tim got teleported after hoody fell off the top floor. it must be the operator doing the teleporting crap.
