Okay, reading up on filelist.xml: http://fileformats.archiveteam.org/wiki/Microsoft_Office_File_List

Looks like the pages were generated with Office and I think the main file was then possibly renamed to typesoftimetravel.htm.htm? That or there's another page hiding somewhere.

image002.png doesn't seem to have metadata in it, but it does contain strings of "Microsoft Office" and "tEXtSoftware".

Searching for tEXtsoftware brings back speech to text software
http://www.vocapia.com/ being the first result.

is it a coincidence that the train hotdog wiki is done using TTS software? Probably but who knows

I think the main clue will be in the wiki article

My guess it that it is the same as was used in THD 9 we may need to listen to this and compare it to the text.

"The Time Travel Club" is a novelette by Charlie Jane Anders that appeared in "Asimov's Science Fiction" magazine's October-November 2013 issue.

the login page on time-travel.club now points to a 404 page full of the under construction gifs ajbau mentioned a number of posts back:

the layout of the gifs seems deliberate. i'm wondering if there's an integer sequence or some other message to be interpreted here.

notice the way the line breaks are placed after each sequence of pairs:

Considering time-travel.club and twinbread.com share an IP I figured I'd have a look at what else was hosted there. Looks like one of those large shared-hosting sites since it came up with 918 results from http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/web-sites-on-web-server/:

Is the most like the text on the website. The only big difference is that they use "Robert Forward's novel Timemaster", whereas the text uses "found in Timemaster, a novel by Dr. Robert Forward," which was the primary way of typing it in previous updates. Maybe someone else will find a more accurate wikipedia version? I feel like it's got nothing to do with it, except maybe the date - though the time travel text does contain weird symbols, they're in the place of hyphens or unusual characters, so it's probably just the website having trouble reading them.
