Hopefully not, three disparate locations is more than enough!

Well this intrigued me so I did a bit of digging on Qadhos.

Each of the three accessible gates has a pop-up window that appears and asks for a password. I'm not sure if this is something we were meant to be able to do or if it's lax PMing (I'm leaning more towards the latter), but I was able to "progress" via:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Taking the "step-01.php" in that pop-up's URL and advancing it to 02 and 03. 04 for all three gates redirected to the terminal.

This is, of course, only progress if entering the correct password into 01 actually results in getting to 02, which might not be the case since there isn't an 04

Gate 2's step 3 is particularly interesting. Its question phrase ("Source Code Repository Password?") is hyperlinked to http://www.qadhos.com/gate-02/qadhos.php I haven't played around with it at all yet.

EDIT: So I talked to the bot and it seems to be pretty generic. However, the one answer it gives very consistently is that it was created by Behaviour Interactive, a videogame company. That's some possible meta, there, perhaps.

Also, I looked at the source code for the first pop-up of one of the gates. A couple of the scripts (including the "login" one) have this comment at the top:
Code:
Written by Joe Abi Raad
http://joeabiraad.com
joe.abiraadSPLATgmail.com

Happy Coding :D

Which is strange as that site is a blog about electronic cigarettes...

Lastly, typing help in the console takes you to http://www.qadhos.com/datastore/index-lock-1223.php
with a single link to "FILE 1": http://www.qadhos.com/datastore/files/scan-30-09-12.jpg which appears to be a hard-to-read list of commands we already know, with some stuff redacted.

The strange thing is that clicking on THAT page's "terminal" link takes you to http://www.qadhos.com/facebook.php which is identical to the index but without the status monitor in the corner.

So i'm having an issue accessing the gates. They all show the error "invalid subroutine" and don't show anything even remotely similar to what others are saying. Here's a screenshot (don't click for possible spoilers) http://tinyurl.com/ndxubsj . Note how adblock is disabled as well.

Yes. Click on the background image on that page to get the pop-up.

Yeah. I had to turn off AdBlock to get the click to work, too.

Also, I tried just going to http://qadhos.com/datastore and I found that it lets you request a document by ID. It does work, as typing 16 does give you that help file. Haven't found anything else that works, though.

The Yellow Curtain Wiki also mentions http://datastore.qadhos.com/ as being an inactive site from the old game. However, rather than a store of documents, it's something strange out of some strange space sci-fi... Might be old/not relevant.

EDIT: Googled the corporation name. Something to do with the game Eve Online, which I know nothing about, really.

Sorry for all the posts, but the thoughts are separate and I keep having them, haha.

I seem to have found a level 3 login!

I didn't notice that at the top of that image on the help page is a set of credentials:
U: kadath
P: carter

With that login, rather than a clearance error, entering anything but the first three gate names gives you:
Code:
WARNING - GATE STILL LOCKED
Launch aborted

Also typing in kadath as a command gives you:
Quote:
Three times Randolph Carter dreamed of the marvellous city,
and three times was he snatched away while still he paused
on the high terrace above it. All golden and lovely it blazed
in the sunset, with walls, temples, colonnades, and arched
bridges of veined marble, silver-basined fountains of prismatic
spray in broad squares and perfumed gardens, and wide streets
marching between delicate trees and blossom-laden urns and
ivory statues in gleaming rows; while on steep northward slopes
climbed tiers of red roofs and old peaked gables harbouring little
lanes of grassy cobbles. It was a fever of the gods; a fanfare of
supernal trumpets and a clash of immortal cymbals. Mystery hung
about it as clouds about a fabulous unvisited mountain; and as
Carter stood breathless and expectant on that balustraded parapet
there swept up to him the poignancy and suspense of almost-vanished
memory, the pain of lost things, and the maddening need to place
again what once had an awesome and momentous place.

Also, typing userslist lists kadath as well as matahari as level 3 logins. Anyone seen matahari anywhere? Says it's only been used once.

Another strange thing: the site's "wrong pw" error reads: Wrong Password for The Dream-Quest

Excellent sleuthing duke, however, I'm pretty sure that almost everything on Qadhos is leftovers from The Yellow Curtain that people we're mentioning.
When I saw the 'facebook.php' page, I found the Qadhos Facebook page. Which hasn't been updated since 2012.

Also, someone on the IRC directed me to this old thread where the discuss the gates that remain open now.

As for the Eve online stuff, http://backdoor.qadhos.com also leads there. I have a feeling that one of the old PMS was an Eve player.

That also explains why some of them are unsolvable, as it required you to email someone. It's okay though, that was a good warmup as we wait for our orders.

Orders have now been received and have to head to work. doh

Quickly solved the first part but now trying to translate to coordinates.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It might be different for people at different levels but my challenge was accompanied with a video readout of numbers. These translate to Bengal. You can also click on the picture and it brings up a map zoom in so i presume we need to find that location somewhere in bengal and then feed in the coordinates......Bengal is a big place lol

Edit ** Ok have found the location but it doesnt seem to like my coordinates or formatting.

Solved and off to work will post later.

I can confirm I got the same puzzle with my red level access.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You're a tad ahead of me though, still trying to find the location. Which if you don't mind sharing, how did you refine the search? As you said Bengal is a huge place. (don't outright say though)

I started with the largest city and looked for certain landmarks / shapes from the image.

Will wait for everyone to wake up and catch up before further updates.
