I suppose I'm a little late to the party here, but I just joined this forum and signed up for the ARG. Long story short, I tried a few searches but came up empty, so I suppose I'm playing catch-up here!

Edit: Oops, nevermind! I finished it. Just waiting like everyone else, now.

I'm going to try to avoid winning any of the missions because my mother and father would not be very keen on me winning $100 bucks over the internet from a stranger...sending me on a potential wild goose chase. Rolling Eyes I don't get them, I mean who on the internet is a bad person?

Finished Mission 01 thanks to some assistance on IRC.

Also, I found a thread on The Secret World forums discussing this game.
It seems The Black Watchmen is a corporation within that game.

I'm thinking that the nods to The Secret World and Qadhos were simply ploys to attract players, which is fine.

Also, per the Twitter, Agents are able to request a change of their clearance level. And they give a little clarification as to which levels are harder than the others.
"The clearance rank follow the electromagnetic spectrum."
"Yellow is further than red or orange."
"None of us in Division 66 ever saw a ranking officer of level green or up. yet...."
Thus 1-(Red) would be the lowest while 3-(Yellow) is the highest.

Behind the curtain talk
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The ARG company The Human Equation bought the IP to the Black Watchmen from Funcom, who make The Secret World. The Black Watchmen was originally an organisation created for the 2012 (?) ARG promoting The Secret World. From now, the Black Watchmen appears to be its own separate game (with some tie ins to The Secret World). QADHOS was part of the older Yellow Curtain ARG by the Human Equation. Combining the two is a good idea - both involve secret societies and Cthulhu.

I was around for the Yellow Curtain Episode 2 way back in 2008 and I've been playing The Secret World for the past year, so I'm definitely up for doing this. Just have to solve mission 1 first Very Happy

Okay, I was finally able to get it thanks to you guys. As for our agent names, is there any log in, or like, how does it track what I have done? I don't see my agent name anywhere or like I said, a login/logout.

UPDATE: New transmission
http://www.division-66.com/

Transcribed as best as I could:

Begin Transmission
Captain William Patrick
"March 19 2014
Captain William Patrick 42nd division reporting:
I've been on sight the last four weeks,
That we've encountered a victim who was maximally exposure in the incident
And it appears we are facing the first record of mutation of BDMF genes
Here the first lab results
This animal is extremely rare and can only be found in 1 out of 5 million units.
"?With no apparent astringent to age group and gender?"
It seems that alpha patients suffered a hit unique chain reaction resulting in a mutation with its BDMF genes
The Result of this mutation seems to drastically alter its sensory communicative capacities
As for now, we are not able to confirm if the mutation has stabilized an estimate the full extent of its impact on the patient. Therefore we are requesting for all units to be removed from the ground.
We must consider "? to searching the sealers trap for security?"
This reports over

End Transmission

I think it's unrelated, but... who knows.

The first one was
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
base64 which was then converted to hexadecimal and then the output of that was converted to hexadecimal again:
Knowing that Judas was reflecting upon something that was exalted, Jesus said to him,
"Step away from the others and I shall tell you the mysteries of the kingdom. It is
possible for you to reach it, but you will grieve a great deal. [36] For someone else will
replace you, in order that the twelve [disciples] may again come to completion with their
god."
Judas said to him, "When will you tell m

Google tells me this is from the Gospel of Judas, a Gnostic text.

Where did you find these? I searched twitter but nothing came up.

edit: for completion's sake, the solve for the second:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
translate from hex to ascii, take the ascii output and translate that from hex, the ascii output from that is then translated from decimal and you get the imgur link. Basically keep messing around with asciitohex.com

AlexLand is a #Hivehum/Secret World operative, but I suppose #division66 is a reference to the irc channel this time, not a twitter hashtag.

UCJAgent, where did you get the captain transmission? From http://www.division-66.com/ ?

Ah, looks like a fan thing then.

Yeah, if you can get to the division-66.com page instead of the dashboard, there's a video of the Captain.

If you keep refreshing the base http://division-66.com page (not the /terminal/bw01/ page it redirects you to) you will eventually get the second video. It doesn't happen every time, so you have to keep pasting in the base url (can't just refresh on the redirected page).

Looking at the source code when the video did pop, here is a direct link to the video - http://s3.amazonaws.com/division-66/assets/video/00146948-204b-4ff3-835e-97b0541cfcb5.mp4

Yes, I meant IRC channel.
I was a bit confused when AlexLand popped out with this first message just a two minutes after I asked about any new clues related to that new picture. He'd disconnected right after the last line but I didn't paid much attention to that fact. I only though that he might be a bot or oog-fan-guy after his second message which was completely irrelevant to the conversation going on at that moment.

If you want more intel on him, Alex Land is/was a "League of monster slayers" member (Illuminati division of this group)
Code name @BlackbloodNYC (former?)

Also, it seems that he broke communications with some of his contacts.
His identity is currently being deleted (twitter account went from "Alex Land" to "-REDACTED-", avatar switched to "patient Alpha" pict fragment).
He could have gone rogue (RP only? recruted by Division66/HE?)
Intel on its twitter account: EYESTHATSEEEYESTHATSEEEYESTHATSEE (reference to @The_Buzzing (Twitterverse))

While we still don't know what's coming, we can assume that anyone could become involved in Division66 (or any other group) operations.
Or that some will use this opportunity to bring chaos upon us (be it in this operation, or in the secret world).
