The sos URL is either from a Vulcan mind meld with the LUNAR team who are all behaving like amenable pod-people now or (truly) from the "contact us" source code.

We are stuck without the password, already tried a few related words like AmyJakob and such with no luck

I am not at my home so i cannot tamper with the red moon image, i will try to see if there is something hidden there

Just wanted to chime in that with Russell's translated section I'm slowly starting to substitute the cipher. At substitution get's easier as you crack more of the code.
