I tried to compare the picture with maps of the libra and scorpio constellations but I wasn't able to see any similarities.

I also tried to connect the stars again, but my software didn't really do what I wanted it to do.

Okay, some suggestions for SQs:

Is it a map of the area where "they" come from?

Does it show stars from "our" point of view (earth) or from somewhere else?

When was the picture taken, as the relative position of stars does change during time (centuries)?

Based on the first constellation being Libra. In some images Libra can be made up of 5 lines (loosely)

Basing that the next constellation would only be 4 lines. I think the second answer is probably:

Looks like we have moved into the next phase with 8 CQ's available to us which equates to a "satisfactory performance"....i think they are being kind lol

We have 5 CSL's to identify with our questions and we have the attached picture to come up with our battle plan to prevent.

As a reminder:

Challenge Specific Limitations: Each challenge will be represented by pieces of images of the future. These images are hints for the nature of future threats and for the CSLs. If players submit a CQ on which the answer is YES and the questions is somehow related to a CSL, the shadow will reveal the related CSL.

And the battle plan is where we have to come up with a battle plan to the crisis/challenge in the form of Nature (Impact on Nature),Social Balance (Impact on Social Balance), Technology (What technology?), Resources (What resources?).

Okay, thank you seadevil for this nice summary and your draft of a battle plan.

I think you're quite correct in your interpretation of the pictures but we should use some, if not all of our CQs to get a more detailed picture of this threat.

Can we keep unused CQs for the next threat or are they lost after the completion of this phase?

Some ideas on CQs:

• Do the pictures show consequences of problems already known to man (e.g. global warming, reduction of ozone layer)?
  

Okay, that was only one.

I'm not quite sure how that earthquake picture fits into all this, because dried out areas, flooding of cities and, in some way, loss of electricity are direct consequences of global warming or decreasing ozone layer but I don't think any of these will cause an increase in seismic activity.

It would appear that any unused questions are lost.

However each time we use a question on its own he takes a stats hit so its best to bundle questions.

I agree that Seadevils list is nice and full but that we should probably get some of these questions used to make sure we arent missing something obvious and jumping to conclusions.
