Not bad. It has some creepy moments, and is a pretty interesting story. I think it's odd that he doesn't change his recollections to sound more like, you know, ten year olds instead of erudite adults, but I can get around that.

Ah, so I was partly right. It is "present day" vocabulary sneaking into the memoir. (I think I'm too used to being around people who hear me use the word "thorough" and can't figure out what it means. *facepalm*)

Anyways, I shall read the rest of this tomorrow. Sleep is starting to overtake me. XD
