I believe Troy posted or said something a few months ago about desiring to have the series finale posted sometime in June. But a lot's come up since then. So I think some posters are anticipating that the trio will blow through filming and editing to keep that schedule. Frankly, it seems that late July-early August is much likelier now. IF they're going to be able to observe that projected signed Season 3 DVD, I can't wait for mine, date, that is.

Which one? The one with Tim seizing and TO exuberantly dancing behind him? I'd love to see that again.

Skully. Razz

Crap I just reminded myself of another loose end in this series that's probably going to go nowhere.

Can we form a list of all the possible loose ends in the series? I'd feel as if that'll be a big list lol.

...and then Troseph found a brilliant way to wrap up all the loose ends (bar one or two for mystery) and Unfiction fell silent in their brillance Smile

Well yes, it would certainly be impressive for all the loose ends to be sufficiently wrapped up in a mere 2 entries.

Well, to be fair, we don't know how long those two entries (has it been confirmed to be two entries?) will be, so they could cover those threads quite easily. I imagine they'll be much, much longer then most standard entries.

Even so, each entry tends to only cover one location/related series of events and our remaining questions are kind of all over the place. It would be difficult to answer all the questions in two entries without making it look like last minute cramming. So if they do pull it off somehow, that will indeed be impressive.

At the time they said this, assuming Troy was remembering the update schedule then it would still fit for 2 more entries to be left. Even if they do go past June 20th, it's unlikely for there to be more than 2 entries (3 if he was really underestimating entry delays) within that time.

I love that short. My favorite expression that Joseph makes is the one in "Joseph Listens to Jazz," where the camera shows him looking over the phonograph he finds and then becoming elated at finding a vinyl record marked "JAZZ" on the turntable.

Zarggg had grown a little tired of it and requested we stop doing that, if memory serves.

Not that I'd personally mind if it was brought back, it has been a while. Just warning that it might not be universally appreciated.

Why? Was it seen as somehow insensitive? Or just stupid? Or both?

I can see an argument for the former, but it still cracked me up everytime I saw it.

Yes, but that's assuming they were going to also maintain their practice since October, I believe, of releasing one entry a month (not counting TTAs). It's possible they could do four more and release them a bit more frequently. I should hope they'd care enough about the ending not to rush it.

I think it was some combination of "stupid" (or at least that it had gotten kinda old) and "physically painful to look at". I don't think the sensitivity had anything to do with it.

Oh. See, I never found it "physically painful to look at." But I could see someone saying it was exploiting or making light of seizures, something something.

I wonder if anyone will make it out alive.

It would be quite intresting if Alex made it out alive and tried to make sense of his own story and doing it very badly, mirroring his Marble Hornets film (with Amy either REALLY dead this time and Alex being subject to a motivational Operator mindwipe or Amy just fleeing from the sight of him after calling him out on his crap)

I don't know about the last part, but Alex being the sole survivor isn't a bad ending. Jay's gone, and it sorta fits Tim's tragic narrative for him to follow Jay. That's sort of in line with the Slenderman myth, that ultimately if you're stalked by him, he'll get you, anyway.

It's a theory I'd entertain, but Alex would need to gain access to Jay's channel and possibly twitter. I kinda want Tim to come up tops though, not because of the "good prevailing" cliché but because he needs to win. Anyone he has ever called a friend is dead, his life has been destroyed and he has come all this way, it'd be so sad if he just failed Sad

I know--I guess I'm just a "glass half-empty, fuckin' glass, screwing me again!" type of fan.
