I still wanna know who the fuck was filming Jay going to the car when this was happening!

It was most likely Tim or Brian, depending on whether or not Tim was filming for TTA at the time.

(We don't have confirmation that he actually was part of TTA, just that Jay assumed he was, but many of us here agree that it's true.)

Yeah, true, and it's really irrelevant anyway. But it coulda been Seth. Maybe that's a reason for getting rid of him. Not only is he contaminated with "TO" because the MH project contaminated everyone (this has been my theory for a couple of months) but also he is contaminated by handling the footage. Maybe he found something out too and Alex found out?

Never bought TTA as a movement. Tim's Masky persona doesn't seem to be much more than a goon, really, or an underling under some degree of control by Hoody. (Sort of a perversion of Brian and Tim's apparently close friendship, which I think Entry #84 really shows was something more like an auxiliary Big Brother-little brother relationship.) I still think TTA was pretty much Brian, and really a trauma-induced production of Brian's TO-bombarded brain. But how about this (it's complicated, there's really no proof, and it's more than 85% speculation, so it's more filler than Entry #81 was): Seth finds something in the tapes. Maybe he lets Brian know at some point. Entry #51 happens but Brian, like Tim, doesn't get teleported for good (maybe it's just a quirk of whatever weird physics work between our world and TO's). But he's all fucked up, and now he has the tapes and starts piecing things back together, and Hoody (whose frowning Hoody masks a not really "stupid" but insane smile) is born.

Possibly not, but I just can't help wonder whether that's how they mighta been going before all the stops and starts. I really think Seth at least was supposed to have a bit more of a role in season three. I don't know about Jessica--apparently she went to England after Season Two wrapped up? I know people get on 'em for the shift from horror/terror to mystery/suspense, but this show just got too big for them, and they were obviously at some points feeling their way into writing a story and moving out of a straight found footage vlog. I don't think the lack of consistency's a fatal flaw. (So long as the end result is satisfying enough in the infinite long run--I'm expecting "WTF!?" to be the dominant response at least till the Kickstarter reward (I chipped in for the signed box set) comes to my mailbox.
