I'm not sure how to answer the question. I don't doubt for a second that Hoody is Brian. I assume that this Entry was meant to reveal it, but the choices that they've made with unmasking Hoody are so utterly bizarre that I don't even know what the fuck they're thinking.

I just feel like that was the most unsatisfying as possible way to reveal it. Seriously if that is how they "unmask" hoody, they dun goofed IMO. Very uninteresting the way they did it.

Agree completely.

Also, remember this "reveal" from Season 1?

Okay, getting tired of seeing this come up, so I am going to attempt to nip it in the bud:

That reveal was not "false," it was simply "only half true." If the same scenario is going on now, then we're not going to find out that Brian isn't the guy in the Hoody, we're going to find out that there are OTHER PEOPLE besides him.

But I doubt that's going to happen because there is little reason to believe that the same thing is going on right now.

Also, remember entry #20? The one where we see Tim come in wearing the signature tan jacket and taking mystery pills? If I recall correctly, that was going to be the reveal that Tim was the Masked Man/totheark, before they did a second season. I believe this was meant to be the same thing.

I agree though, it was dissatisfying.

That was a lot more satisfying, though, and would have been much more satisfying even had MH only lasted for one season. Because the mystery was being built up back then, so the "seeming" reveal worked much better.

Seriously. It's not complicated.

It could still be a bit of misdirection (particularly the way it was handled), but if Brian is Hoody, honestly, well I'm fine with it because of how entry #84 handled Brian's character and his friendship with Tim.

To be honest I only voted 'misdirect' because I want that to be true, but I'm almost certain that yes, it was confirmation. I lied on my own poll. :/

Someone should make a different poll, 'Are you satisfied with how it was revealed'.

What's the point then of making a poll about an opinion, when you you deem only one opinion as valid? Wink

I wanted to hear what the group as a whole thought. I never said there's only one valid opinion, just that I think it was confirmation. "Almost" certain.

I actually already said exactly this but I'm going to repeat it in the hope that no one ever thinks it's a valid argument: in season one masky WAS TTA. Back then they didn't have the same plot written out that they do now. They genuinely were planning on TTA being masky.

So if you want to use this as an argument all it proves is that the text they put in these videos is actually true and Brian is Hoody.

And honestly guys... I thought it was stupid to think Hoody was anyone else before Entry 84 (just like how it was stupid to think masky was anyone but Tim in season 1) but now you're just being in denial. Do you actually want them to do a fucking red herring? this late in the game? that'd be awful. And Brian makes so much sense. It'd be like "oh yeah this guy works really well as Hoody and adds some cool dimensions to the story but that's actually not how it is he's this guy that most viewers don't remember." Get real.

I'm open to the idea of there being other people in TTA though (namely Seth).

Did anyone notice this?

Hoody had the chance to shoot Alex. Why the hell would Hoody, a stalker and revenge seeker, hesitate to shoot Alex? Because Brian was good friend with Alex. Hoody never seemed to want to kill Tim either, but instead wanted him to join back up with him.

We see in Entry 84 how Brian and Tim are purposely, and strategically set next to each other. Brian watches over Tim during his interview as if he was acting as an "older brother" so to speak; just like Hoody does to Masky. However, during Brian's interview, Tim is straying away and wandering around never watching over Brian reflecting the way he has been throughout the series. These shots would only be shown to demonstrate the partnership between Hoody and Masky.

This should prove that Hoody is Brian. There's no other reason for him not to be.

I for one loved how they revealed Hoody's identity.

There's no doubt that this entry was confirmation that Hoody = Brian. I just really hope this isn't the end of the line for his character.

although it's very likely to be confirmed, I find the way the confirmation was presented to us to be too "on the nose." Too much in a way that Trosphim would know better. Even if Brian is in fact, Hoody I do see there being a lot more to it. We didn't need to be told that was a the same hoody is was too obvious. It'd be the same as Jay saying "that guy's dead" at the end of #49. Just because something is in the white verdana font doesn't mean it's actually true Razz Jay and Tim have been wrong before and we're neck-deep in a sea of unreliable narrators. I know they wouldn't release an April fool's Entry on the canon channel but perhaps it may be a hint from Trosphim, maybe they're throwing us off a little bit.

tl;dr There's more to this, there's gotta be.
