One thing that could be creepy would be if during the final confrontation, a 3rd person picks up the camera at some point and films Alex and Tim, but we never learn who exactly it was.

Now that would not be a bad idea. In fact, it could be awesome. An awesome way to end, even. Maybe. I don't know. I haven't seen it filmed yet. I'll let you know.

They said they were going to finish by June right? That would make this next entry the final entry, there's no way they have enough time to do another one after this unless it's already shot.

That was what they'd hoped to do before 'Bama got all tored up by tornadoes.

I don't know. People keep saying they said that. Can someone please provide me with a source for where this came from?

Their estimated delivery date for the season 3 DVD is August. Obviously, there's a lot of work they can do on the DVD without having the final episode in place, but they will absolutely need to have it done and dusted in time to get the DVDs produced, including a suitable amount of time for doing a quick test run to make sure the DVD actually comes out and functions as intended. They started the Kickstarter after all the weather delays, so they'd have taken that into account in the planning, and even then I really don't see how they could expect to meet an August 2014 date if the last entry weren't finished sometime in June.

I almost wonder whether they are aiming to drop the last entry once the Kickstarter ends - or even better, close to the end of the Kickstarter so the hype of the last entry coming out can hopefully prompt a surge of last-minute backers.

While I feel that the ending (Climax not the conclusion/outro) will be something completely unpredictable (like entry#83) I do think that there are some thing that I fell won't happen, First off I do not Believe that TO will be defeated, not in a traditional way at least ... maybe after this is all done his meds can be enough to protect him, but any sort of killing/sealing away is a bit too over the top to actually happen.Secondly Sarah will not be addressed (because she dosn't need to be) and a bunch of people are going to make a big deal out of it for no real reason other than the shear fact that they are all have some strange attachment to the female characters in this series (yeah the fact that Brian=Hoody is such an outrage right it was clearly Amy or Sarah or even Jessica [even though she was basically killed off] like Brian TOTALLY HAD NO PLACE FOR BEING THAT PERSON IM SO MAD GUIZE like sersly)

Now if I am to make predictions /specifications I would probably say that

1.Alex will be killed off by not Tim but the Operator (this will show that while Alex was insane due to exposure to TO he wasn't necessarily being controlled by him)

2.The ARK is an event that will take place in which all of the characters that are alive will be reunited

3.There will be some exploration of the place where there is no light (which might also be the ARK)

Here are the answers that I feel will be answered

-What is the ARK

-What was Alexes rasional (if he has one)

-What is Tim's big secret (from null)

-What is the connection with TOTHEARK

-other stuff

some things will not be answered

They could film the last few over the next month-plus and then "drop the last entry" shortly before or around the time that the DVDs and box sets are ready to sign and ship, too.

a possibility, but it also could--if done wrong--humanize TO in the way that really ruins the "eldritch abomination" aspect.

God, I hope not. That seems like too happy an ending. The thought that TO's just keeping others prisoner somehow rather than that they were murdered by Alex and taken or at least critically if not mortally wounded like Jay and maybe Hoody ratchets down the horror factor. And what about their mental and spiritual as well as physical states? How the hell do you make these poor fuckers whole again? I hope there's not a happy ending. I hope there's just an ending with some resolution. But that may just be me.

The7kproductions wrote:

This I think is highly likely. Especially, if I'm right in having posted elsewhere on Unfiction, that perhaps by virtue of some special relationship with the eldritch abomination that is TO Alex tapped into some of TO's eldritchly abominable capabilities.

Hopefully, yes, some sort of realization of this. Though I wonder whether the possibility exists that "The Ark" was just the figment of a demented Brian/Hoody's imagination. Maybe he interpreted reality as he saw it through his trauma and imposed such names as "The ARK" and "The Operator" (which, yes, Alex used too) on the situation to make sense of it and maybe come up with some sort of narrative to justify going on and trying to get "justice"?

That's the thing, though--IG where did these names all come from? Is there some sort of myth that's "out there" within the Marble Hornets universe that Alex and Hoody at least found out about?

The7kproductions wrote:

I believe this one's on its way.

The7kproductions wrote:
-What is Tim's big secret (from null)

Now this is intriguing, and I wonder whether the dialogue in Entry #84 at Brian's audition wasn't a bit of misdirection? (Either that or "Null" itself?) The way I read the "secret" stuff after seeing Entry #84 was that "Null" was Brian's way of confirming himself as "Hoody" and as "ToTheArk" (because at the end of "Null," which ends with "Regards," there's a brief flash of Hoody's mask, and there's also the reference to that line that Alex wrote but that Brian said in the audition that was likely when TO "infected" Alex and Brian). But this could really be getting at something else. But is it Tim's secret or is it Alex's?

The7kproductions wrote:

This one might already have been settled. If Brian was Hoody and Hoody was ToTheArk, then we have full revelation here.

Kind of a nice, high, comfy hedge you've built from which to watch the series conclude. Just kidding. I still hope that there's something relevant to Entry #12 and maybe to the first bullet casing found in the old house in Entry #16.

Tim makes a final stand against TO and Alex in his house and rips off Straw Dogs.

I kinda dislike the whole super-mega face off ending. While Marble Hornets definetly has some good jump scares, I never viewed it like a Michel Bay Slender Movie. I enjoyed the suspension, the slow, creeping horror, (with the occasional TO jumping in from out of nowhere) and I somehow hope that the "grand finale" will somehow turn on that core value of MH. But please no second #83.

I'd rather see for a grand finale, if there is to be some sort of confrontation, something more like one of the arguments that Alex and Jay and Tim and Jay had, only at an unexpected point something big happens. But I agree that something such as a huge, cosmos-rending cataclysm would be BS.

Seconded, I think MH has largely incorporated more drama elements than horror at this stage so I think a standoff or confrontation is due. But I can't see it taking place in Tim's house. Tim's house is so small, non-picturesque and seeing TO trying to squeeze into it would just look goofy. I know Ascalondion said no second #83 but I don't see any other way for them to get to a more appropriate endgame stage than be teleported by TO, unless there's a break between the fight and one flees to another area (not completely unlikely to happen, mind)

Alex and Tim are both going to burn to death in Rosswood Park. The final entry will be uploaded by a third party, with no explanation as to who filmed Alex and Tim's final moments.

OR

Alex will burn to death in Rosswood Park, leaving Tim as the lone survivor of the whole mess.

OR

Alex will meet his end as he himself described those who are "Tried Before God" in that entry where he is leading Jay to kill him. (I forget the number.) Tim will come out alive, again the lone survivor.

If it ends with either of the latter choices, Tim will post a conclusion video, as well as a possible burning of the tapes (if they didn't burn in his house). The first ending leaves an opening for the film to pick up, as the tapes (some of them) are still out there (again, if they didn't burn in the house).

This is my favorite theory, by far.
