Anyway Aimee2026 finally contacted me & in reply to my email she wrote:
I'm glad you're safe. And that you have a way of relaxing amongst all this pressure and devastation.

You asked about the toxin (I'll refrain from using it's name due to potential prying eyes). The weight of the gas was specifically designed to be heavy enough that it would fall to the ground before it could ever reach a high enough altitude to cause a cloud. So there was never a risk of it spreading anywhere other than the intended areas. We really did design the perfect weapon. I can assure you therefore, that the Ark is in a perfectly safe location. Myself and Zach are fine.

As for a place to hide out and recuperate, I'm afraid there's no such place on the Ark. The only quiet time we get is when everyone else is asleep. Which is rare. But I'm not complaining. All that time to myself would do is cause me to re-live and dwell on certain things...and that wouldn't do me any good.

Nice to talk again. Keep in touch.


Yet it appears something may have altered in the Telek toxin b/c the female voice in the Vimeo video & the dialogue blurb wrote:
We have just received confirmation that the cloud has grounded all flights. Sit tight. We'll get to you as soon as we can. Over

 		Been watching the Penzu unfold...
We have "Mum", Lydia and now Ben.

Someone earlier mentioned clones... What if this is a clone of Abigail?

Or someone else on the Ark?

 		Alright, there are a few things Faithless and I were discussing that you all might be interested in or able to help out with. Let me try to organize my thoughts.

First of all, the Penzu post with Lydia. I'm personally of the opinion that it's probably a trap for Abigail, especially if Lydia has been recruited by the powers that be. If she's really being tracked as well, then it might not even be a trap of her own making, but a trap nonetheless. Whether or not anyone wants to try to warn her off or alert the authorities to the meeting is up to you guys.

Related is the question of who Abigail is, exactly. The only person who seems to have any knowledge of her is Simon, although she claims to be part of the Ark group. Neither future Aimee or Zach have any knowledge of her, as far as I'm aware (does anyone else have info to the contrary?). However, my question is: if she's not with the Ark people, then how does she have time change-y technology? Presumably it's not available to all people. So she's either with the Ark people (HRI or Resistance?), with the government (secret double agent?), or something even more unknown and shady. Faithless suggested that if she is another party then she might possibly be the creator of said time technology? But then Aimee and Zach should at least know of her if not know her personally. Does anyone else have any insight? I still don't trust Abigail while the only person to vouch for her existence is Simon.



Okay, this was a really long post. TL;DR is basically all about Abigail and wondering who the heck she is.

Also, if anyone could get more info on the time technology itself, when it was created and by whom, that might be helpful.

ETA: I apologize if any of this is covered before. Trying to keep track of history in two different timelines not including multiple versions of the stories is way more difficult than it has a right to be.

 		Well, Leigh and I have been sussing out again, and several things clarified for me.

Firstly Simon Said in his first email to me Abigail is an ex-time agent. Gone rogue.

Secondly, here's a theory...

what if we're changing time? Simon's files could be legit, and because of Aimee's decision to stay and produce and antidote, the timeline changed, leading to the flash drive and the shooting... But because Aimee is on the Ark, she doesn't know that it's different.

Am likely worry-antsy-imagining yet Abigail is leaving 3 spaces in their exchange & Lydia leaves 2 so it would read: you protective. don't if still bodies. streets be 7.

 		Simon responded to some more direct questions.

We believe this to have been carried out by Abgail Whittaker, when John Atkinson leaked the toxin into the labs and destroyed almost all of it). Before anybody had a chance to react effectively, millions were feared to have died. We uncovered the NCE plot when it became apparent that the gunmen had flown over with the ambassadors. Tensions have been fraught with the NCE ever since we took action against this, and excecuted the ambassadors here in the UK. There was talk of war for years, but the traitors put a stop to us defending ourselves when they let the NCE get hold of the toxin compound.

As for the Ark; we believe it to be some kind of vessel, holding potentially hundreds of thousands of people, if not millions. (We can't be certain yet, just how many people are missing). There were rumours of it being a space ship, or a submarine, hiding out of our reach either above us or below. But the truth is we just don't know.

 		Abigail has some news on the Penzu:

I don't think I have any scope in convincing Aimee to abandon the project. The only viable option she has is to move away and do nothing. As morally bankrupt as she may be in the future, the Aimee I know wouldn't be able to just walk away. I can't even let myself walk away and I'm living on limited time. We just want to help. If making a vaccine winds up becoming obsolete because there's no toxin, then that's great news...but the least she can do now is make sure there's one ready just in case. I'm guessing it's on the back burner right now anyway, given that she's taking care of Chloe and trying to help Zach. I had hoped I could be of some use to him but I don't think he trusts me. Well, he doesn't know me, so I can't blame him for that.

I'm hoping he gets back in touch and let's me know that's he's safe though. I had intended to cut all ties with Aimee yesterday, but it looks like we're being forced to work together in trying to protect Zach now. I can't just let them struggle alone if there's a chance I could be of some help.
