So, who would have thought that collecting the "Swag" would be as fiendish as some of the in game puzzles....The PM contacted me to see if the parcel had arrived and sadly it hadn't and i had received no missed delivery notification. According to the couriers website, the parcel had been delivered but no one was there to collect it (pretty standard if you try to deliver during work hours!). I had a tracking number though so how hard could it be....

Queue an hour of moving in circles on the DHL Germany website. No email to contact and the phone number went through to an automated operator all in German and my German is nicht so gut.

I wondered whether DHL had passed the parcel onto another courier and tried the tracking number on parcelforce. It was a hit and it led me to the Royal mail who said it was located in a post office in my area. No idea which one but since there are only three i set out!

At the first one they said the tracking number wasnt correct so with 3% charge on my phone left, I hurriedly tried to find a royal mail equivalent. It was in the system (Hurray!) but not at that post office (Boooo). They also couldn't tell me which post office as the system was playing up....

At the third post office (second one also didnt have it) they confirmed they had it but wanted ID. I explained my story and they took pity on me handing over my "Swag". It took them a good 10 minutes to find it though and i half expected them to blow a layer of dust off it as they passed it to me triumphantly!

I think I accidentally invented a new game - Hunt the Parcel/Swag.

At least you got it, gave you a bit of exercise and fresh air in the process

I'll have to try sending swag at the beginning next time or perhaps a geocache.

Your welcome, you definitely deserved it considering all the hard work and character interactions.

ETA: Hoping that your pic of the swag is overly exposed because my T-shirt which I ordered as a test doesn't look white-ish.
