Well even if they don't reach this stretch goal, this new series will still be made. Just not as soon.
Why do they need so much money to do a new series or film excerpts of Alex Krailie's Marble Hornets?

The AK's MH clips are something they could probably have done either way and just thought it would be a fun stretch goal to shoot for.
The new series on the other hand is probably going to be lengthy and complicated and ambitious. It seems unlikely that they'd do another hand-held camera series, and more traditional filmmaking would doubtless be more expensive, as they'd have to consider lighting, sound, maybe even costumes and props...basically the more money they have, the higher quality equipment they can get and the more cool stuff they can do!

In related news, the Kickstarter just needs $1,300 more!

I imagine they also might need to compensate the actors just a bit. Brian and the actress who played Sarah have moved on. They said on the latest posdcast that they can't get Brian back very often because he not only lives far out of state now but is prepping to go either to medical or to nursing school. Plus if they themselves are working at other jobs, they'll probably need to be able to be able to afford some significant time off.

Wonderful. They deserve every penny, too.

Had to withdraw my pledge for monetary issues, but I'll be grabbing the DVD at a later date. So happy for the guys.

Just watched the timer zero out while melancholying sighing.

Oh for an extra $20 a minute ago.

And so it was written.

Guess it's too late for an 80k stretch goal of Trosphim to act out a MH yaoi fanfic? :/

I suspect it would require a bit more cash than that...

I dunno, aren't they used to working on a low budget?

The box set (and season 3 itself) should both be available before the end of August. It'll be revealed sometime next week and I get the feeling you guys will love how it looks.

Unsure about anything else, I'm just the design guy.

unfortunately I could only afford the the S3 DVD but I have to say I really love what you did with the box art! If it's anything to go by I'd say the boxset looks pretty darn neat Very Happy

So wait, is the Season 3 DVD and box set available to buy? Googling yielded nothing.
