Late to the party, but the kickstarters final goal was the straw that broke by willpower.
I snapped and pledged $75 ($55 for the box set pledge and $20 for shipping) to get my hands on the signed box set. I may also pledge more if I can scrape some money together for the T-shirt. And at some point I may hate myself for paying so much (probably if it doesn't meet the goal), but I really want them to successfully meet their stretch goal and make a new horror series.
All that's left is to wait and see if they can get another 10k in 4 days.
Fingers crossed

$70,000 to fully fund the next two (!) series after MH (one mystery/horror series and one comedy series).

Agree with adaminator. I believe that they meant the $70,000 stretch goal includes funding for the next horror web series and that they either already had plans in place for the comedy series or would be pushing that one back.

From the Kickstarter update:
"Hopefully both will prove popular enough to where we can keep both going at the same time. Securing this funding will go a long way to both getting fully made!"

Backed at the $30 level here, but I really want that box set. I've only been a follower of this series for a few months so I don't have any of the DVD's yet.
I'm jealous of the person who was able to spend $1500 to meet them and visit the filming locations. Alabama is really within driving distance for me but no way I could ever afford that. I'm planning on attending GMX this year anyway to meet them so no big deal.
They never said the funding was for both shows.
Huh? I said which level I backed at (which has now been upgraded to $60) and then mentioned that I was jealous of those who can afford the $1500 tier and then said I was planning on going to GMX this year. What "both shows" are you talking about?

I must have quoted the wrong post on accident and not noticed. My apologies.

Yes, but they said they were gonna try to work on both at once and that meeting the stretch goal would bring them a long way toward full capacity to do so. (They should be pretty fine just falling short. It's a good thing they made the Kickstarter early and that Kickstarter doesn't count your stretch goals as your ultimate goals--they'd be about to lose the whole damn thing unless someone sprung for the $8,000 tier.)

Only $4,000 left and 40 hours to go!
An average of $100 per hour sounds doable. I think we're in the phase of a Kickstarter's life where a lot of people who've been waiting until the last minute contribute, so hopefully they can power on through that last few thousand tomorrow!

Even if they don't, am I correct in assuming that since we're on stretch goals now, they will keep everything contributing towards the stretch goals and thus will still have *mostly* funded the series? I mean, if they get to keep all 60 whatever thousand dollars they've received, then they will still have money to partially fund the next series with and be short only a few thousand, right?

It ends June 1st. I almost missed getting a signature from Trosephim!

It's a safe assumption, yes.
And to TheJoker, yes, they keep the money because the $70,000 was a stretch goal added after the official goal of $8,000 was hit. Kickstarter apparently doesn't like stretch goals, but it doesn't prohibit them. Had Trosephim been, say, at $7,834 when tomorrow's deadline hit, they would have had to give it all back.
I would have used gofundme or indiegogo, as you can keep everything if you don't hit your goal--you just pay higher withdrawal prices (12% total).

Less than a day left to fund if you haven't already! (Also, I totally got the signed blu-ray.)
