What we have so far--

The video consists of: an image of a cloudy sky, which then cuts to a guy on google.tt who types "trinstod" into the search box and gets a hit about some sort of CICS server. The camera then leaves the screen and looks at a possibly unconscious man tied up in a corner. The cameraman throws several black objects at the man. After being hit twice, the man appears to wake up and thrash around violently. The camera is dropped forward onto the computer desk. The video then cuts back to the cloudy sky, now captioned I HAD A DREAM ABOUT GOOGLE.

The tied-up man seems to be rather old by his posture, but his movements suggest some physical strength. He is not dark-skinned, although the quality is too poor to be sure of his race.

Typing I HAD A DREAM ABOUT GOOGLE into Google will pull up Jeremy Zawodny's blog. Zawodny is a (former?) Yahoo employee who worked often with CICS software.

The white object the tied-up man knocks over in his struggles is a Swedish phone called a Cobra. Similarly, the radiator behind the man is of the sort commonly found in Northern Europe and the British Isles.

It seems to be night outside, but it could just be a black window-shade.

The video was posted at 8 AM on October 13, 2007. The user who posted the video, trinstod, joined on October 13, 2006 and has apparently never used his youtube account before.

--did I miss anything?

It is believed the video was filmed on October 4th, 2007, because of the Google logo, which was displayed on that day in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Sputnik.

Apparently the original link to the YouTube video was spammed on an IRC channel, probably a Swedish IRC channel although we don't have any hard proof of that.

the trailhead was found on a popular swedish forum, I remember that from the 4chan thread before it 404'd. Any idea what it was?

Doing a Google search for Trinstod brings up this PDF file: mvs1.iicc.ca/onldoc/Landmark/h20uspe.pdf

Date of posting here is April 30th.

The PDF file was from a company called Landmark Systems Corp., which was acquired by Allen Systems Group. I did a search on the aquisition and apparently the merger was expected to happen by April 30, 2002. (http://www.asg.com/newsroom/pr_details.asp?id=50)

Probably not important but thought i'd give it a try.
