Bang on, though it's not as far fetched as it sounds. Tim never really hints that he thought TO into existence though and I really doubt MH would cover it's origins. At least in the series.

Some of the Slender elements in MH--and I really don't have a way to "prove" this--are I think more nods to Victor Surge's original myth than actual utilizations of it. We have Tim saying that Brian said that someone was disembowling animals and (I think) leaving them in plastic bags. We have Jessica's dream about being lost in the woods. We have Alex's "ghost story" in Entry #38. There are a couple more that I'm not remembering well right now. But I think this was Trosephim tipping their collective cap to the ultimate creator of the Slender Man myth and the inspiration for their series/ARE rather than actually saying that TO is Slender Man. (Because TO really is not Slender Man. TO is very much based on him, but TO is not him--we don't even know that TO is a "him.")

Cyan507, take a look at the end of the Entry #76 tape. The perspectives don't make sense. Who's filming? Why wasn't that individual taken by TO? Who got the footage of Alex getting his gun back? Why was this one TO appearance from earlier in the tape and unlike the other abductions? It seems as if it's intended to be an IG forgery.

Apologies, I'm not quite getting what you're saying in terms of "perspectives" as and as for the shot Alex getting his gun back, the shot is static, so the camera could have been on the ground facing up. Unlikely but still, the composition is interesting but I doubt it was done so intentionally. And I don't see how it wasn't like the other abductions? it wasn't the exact same but wasn't entirely different either.

I mean camera point of views. Even if this all came from one camera, there are questions of why some shit was cut out and how long Jessica really lay on the path. It still seems IG (and I really should say "in show") edited, and the question is "by whom" and "why"? (By Hoody, most likely, and to angry up Jay's blood.) It also really seems to try to implicate Tim in her disappearance by showing him at the spot where she purportedly was abducted. We really have no way of knowing how much time (even IG) elapsed.

The reason I think that this is a fake TO abduction is that this is the only abduction in which TO himself doesn't show up in the scene. There's a flash to TO from Jessica's encounter the night before (if it was the night before). The abduction in Entry #49 is different; TO appears at the tunnel entrance. TO also appears and glides toward Tim in Entry #64. In Entry #80, TO shows up in the room with Jay. But in the tape in Entry #76, we get early footage. Something isn't right there.

I know there are instances of images from early footage showing up with TO attacks (Entry #72 has an image of Tim seizing in Entry #61)--but they're different from this one (and one could stretch the explanation that there's some emotion or memory being somehow recorded because of TO's influence, but that doesn't seem to apply to Entry #76, when Jessica's either unconscious or dead, and Tim shows up later limping, unmasked, and dazed). It seems that someone's trying to go to some length to make TO seem responsible. This wouldn't be the first time (if enttry #38 is a fake by TTA, too) that Hoody/TTA has edited TO into footage.
