Okay, I'll admit. That was actually a hilarious reaction GIF.

Also, Hoodie gave his camera to Jay back in 78. By all appearances, he no longer has a camera. I think that accounts for any inconsistency there.

Oh yeah! That explain that part! But it can't explain the previous entries like Entry 66 when Hoodie go to the hospital. Does that mean that moment he also gave his camera to other person? Probably other TTA group?

Actually it completely explains it, for you see Entry #66 came before Entry #78, so he would still have a camera then.

EDIT: And my hat comes off to you, Marble Hornets, I seldom laugh that hard at reaction gifs.

I know he still have his camera in Entry 66 and even more previous than that. I'm asking about why he didn't bring his camera in the previous entry before Entry 78. In Entry 58, Entry 66, etc, he didn't bring the camera but in another entries he bring it. Why?

Anyway Marble Hornets, I don't know what that GIF means, but I know it funny as hell. XD

Because if Hoody was comfortable giving his camera to Jay, he clearly doesn't share the need to constantly film himself. He probably only uses the camera when he wants to record something specific he wants seen or when he suspects something important is going to happen. The fact that he knew Jay and Tim would be there and probably guessed they'd have the camera part covered may have helped as well.

Or maybe he just forgot to charge it that day and it had run out of battery.

I think it may be that he knew his end was likely coming, and that he was trying to force endgame anyway. I know it's not a popular theory, but I read TTA's "Null" not only as a sign off from TTA but as Hoody's confirmation that he is TTA. (Others have observed that it seems like a signoff with TTA's third use of "Regards" seemingly bookending the TTA response videos--I claim no originality there.) there were times when Hoody seemed to need to tape things, though maybe not obsessively. He did tape a lot in Entry #68 and then in Entry #73 he seems to want to be taping a lot (he obviously didn't know that Alex was going to be waiting in Tim's attic, though it could be argued that maybe he was originally making the tape both to offer a confirmation to Tim that the pills were helping to fend off The Operator's effects and to intimidate him by showing that he knew where Tim's stash was). But, yeah, one could easily imagine him using the same tape over and over till it was worn out.

I don't think he use the same tape over and over. But maybe he has a limited tape.

Then parts where he didn't bring his cam. For my observation, he mostly use it when he near his shack or outside Rosswood park. He only use it in the hospital ONCE but then he never bring it there anymore. It could be:
1. Just like The Joker said, Tim and Jay already bring camera so they can record him themself.
2. Knowing how secretive he was, it's not weird if he don't want to spoil the secret directly to them through recording.

This second theory would work well in Entry 76 where Hoodie appear after Jessica hold the cam.
