 		[TRAILHEAD] Palioxis & VoloGen
It's 2039, and we're sending this woman to Mars...
I was poking around in the forums and found a reference to palioxis.org, which leads to the website for VoloGen Industries, a 2039 space corporation who is planning a mission to Mars.

I don't really have time to study all of the info now, and I don't know what to expect, but it looks like the PM has put a lot of effort into this, so it could be really cool! To tease it, the last post is a video introducing the lucky person who was selected to go to Mars (in 2041). She mentions the death of Cody as though we know who that is, and midway through the video, the image below pops up.

Anyhoo, just thought I'd point it out for now to those who might be interested! Looks like a nice project!

 		I went to ancilon.com and noticed a blinking cursor, so I thought that I would type in some things. When I typed in "Cody Winston" and pressed Enter, the webpage displayed:

It seems to be some sort of data query website. I tried out some other names, words, and phrases, and here is what I got:

For "Okulotec":
Quote:
\\ OkuloTec \\ Corporation based in the Netherlands. Founded in 2019. Production of holographic and psychovisual equipment for government, military and household markets. Recent partnership formed with VoloGen Industries and Astronautics. \\ End of stream. "


For "Vologen":
Quote:

For "Palioxis":

For "Ancilon":

What I received when I typed in random and irrelevant words, like "Pie":
Quote:
\\ End of stream.


"Jerilyn Rosenthal" also received a blank result.


Things of note (which may have been lost in the chaos with the quote tags):
-Some specific search terms retrieve basic data, most of it background information in nature.
-Queries about irrelevant data and things return a simple "End of stream"
-No data was returned when queried about "Jerilyn Rosenthal", an apparently important person
-A query about "Palioxis" returned "Insufficient Clearance Level"
-A query about the website itself returns an error


EDIT: Some more queries.

"The Boeing Company" and "Boeing Company" returned nothing. Same with "Spirit AeroSystems."

"Artemis I" returned with:

"TV135" returned nothing. "NASA" also returned nothing.

"Neville Paulson" returned:

"NPI Systems" returned:

\\ NPI Systems \\ Founded by Neville Paulson in 2020. Specializes in the manufacturing of automated treatment and operation mechanisms. Neville Paulson left NPI Systems in 2023, claiming that his viewpoints had become incompatible with the board of trustees. \\ End of stream.


"1989", "2039", "2042", "Sheffield", "England", "Sheffield, England", and "2020" all returned nothing. "2034" and "North Platte, Nebraska" were also busts.


EDIT2: Sorry that I'm making this post even longer, but I found some more information.

First of all, it seems that I was wrong about the purpose of ANCILON. I don't know what it is, but it seems to be nefarious. For example, browsing through the news on the Vologen page, I found the following:

Meanwhile, there is a way to give Vologen your email and name. Scroll to the bottom of this page, and you should see the advertisement about becoming the first person to journey to Mars. While the post says that applications are closed, the system still functions, and it sends an automatic confirmation email to your email address. I've entered my information, and I'm waiting for the confirmation email now.

EDIT3: Got it and clicked the confirmation link. Apparently, the application is not submitted until the email is confirmed. Let's see what happens next...

I signed up yesterday on the VoloGen site, nothing but a confirmation email yet.

How did you guys find Ancilon?

The Ancilon interrupt I posted above hints at the word "NECTAR", which I haven't been able to get any hits off of (as a url on VoloGen, Ancilon, Jerilyn's page, etc; as a password; or in Ancilon).

Also, the second Ancilon sabotage you posted (on this page: http://vologen.com/news/9-palioxis-partnerships-and-collaborations) looks odd to me. The image is named "T2JmdXNjYXRpb24=.gif" -- "T2JmdXNjYXRpb24=" is "Obfuscation" in base64. Might just be a clever way to name the file, but could the gif be hiding something else? Attaching it for the intrepid.

Good spotting! "napvbapbz" ROT13 is "anciloncom", so I guess it was meant to point us there?

 		I don't know about the images--they don't have any hidden text files, and trying to open then with an archiving program didn't work. There seem to be some legible words on the second line about the second company, but I couldn't read the company's name.

On the other hand, I noticed that the Ancilon interrupt in the video contains numbers on the right-hand side:

The numbers are from the Fibonacci sequence.

I've tried nectar and fibonacci as username/password on the Vologen login page -- no luck. I also tried them as appendages to ancilon.com and vologen.com. And I tried putting them into Ancilon. No dice.

 		Based on my reading of the news articles on the Vologen page, I think that the usernames for the login page are the team names that we will be assigned after the application goes through. Namely, green, yellow, orange, violet, black. etc. (up to seven). The password will be provided to us once we are assigned to a team.

 		Well, it turns out there was a sub-reddit set up already at

and they were able to get a few other things, including the login passwords for

GREEN, RED, BLUE, YELLOW, ORANGE, and VIOLET groups:

rearrange groups in order of rainbow and match with words on left and numbers on right in picture from video:
RED - nan13
ORANGE - easy21
YELLOW - charlie34
GREEN - tare55
BLUE - able89
VIOLET - roger144

now the words "nan, easy, charlie, tare, able, roger" are phonetic alphabet words use in WWII phonetic alphabet - see http://www.history.navy.mil/faqs/faq101-1.htm

and we already know the numbers are from a fibonacci sequence, and the next number is 233

so, I deduced the password for the BLACK group is "nectar233".


when you log in as a BLACK group member, you are introduced to a new phase and a new company "CERECORP" and website is cerecorp.com

Logging in as REEN, RED, BLUE, YELLOW, ORANGE, or VIOLET yields the same results: a short message and nothing else (from what I can discern).

Logging in as BLACK yields a special message, as arthurdent11389 already said. I have not been able to find anything of interest on the Cerecorp website. (I can't even progress beyond the home page!)
