He could have done it on auto pilot as he was trying to make sense of what happened (hence the lack of description on the Twitter link) - just something normal and regular while trying to comprehend he might have to kill himself and that he couldn't save Alex.

1. Entry #83 seems to have Alex's hand in it. It was pretty clear that there was someone with a willful anger toward Tim and toward Brian/Hoody guiding things. (And Alex was the IG writer/director of "MH"--a bit of irony there.) I think there are a couple of other entries that suggest that Alex has some sort of enhanced ability thanks to exposure to TO. (1A. I might not be the only one who called it a while back, but Amy hasn't been "just someone for Alex to save.")

2. I assume that Brian's been the "empty husk" since Entry #51, because he wasn't killed and taken for good, and he was so transformed (traumatized?) by what happened that he became "hoody." Being an "empty husk" doesn't mean he became nothing. He was so driven by his need for revenge/justice (in his eyes) that he thought of nothing else.

3. I have to watch this again because I watched it in a place where I couldn't crank the volume and gunshots and chokings would not be good things to be overheard viewing, so I may have missed something extra. My understanding was that these memory losses started in the few days in the hotel.

Two observations:

1. I don't think it was the end because that final, longish shot of Tim leaves a lot of room for someone to walk up from behind. I don't know who that would be.

2. How does posting this entry reflect poorly on the Mythos--especially when MH really isn't part of the Mythos but is its own story with its own preternatural antagonist? The trio waited long enough, they were right to wait, but waiting any longer wouldn't make a damn difference.

 		So MH was right, the only way to defeat the operator is to starve it of people to attach to. And the best way to do that, is to kill everyone who interacted with it.

Well, this episode was amazingly done, but now I feel hollow. The possibility of the series ending full stop saddens me as it became such a large part of my life. However, the ending they did create for it was amazing, if leaving the loophole of "Who the hell uploaded this?"

Who thinks this is the final entry and who thinks it will be followed by one last epilogue?

I think you are talking about the overlapping voice at 8:43. it is alex saying "how does it feel to have one of your friends die?"

I guess it wasn't really confirmed, but that could be some really major shit if it turns out to be true, unless something like that was kind of assumed already

Also there's no fuckin way that that isn't a sequel hook

Or, well, a movie hook, I guess? They said that the movie wouldn't be part of the story but that it would be in the same universe

 		Throwing this out there.

"You missed someone". TTA. Even if Tim is still alive, I think TTA is still out there and is NOT (just) Brian. We'll see.

Loved the entry. Need a god damned smoke after seeing that and I've gone a year without a cigarette. Freaking intense man dear god. Skully man. Skully. And I've never even believed that theory until now... But I think there's another party we're going to be surprised with.

Something like that would be "a twist" enough without really being a "lame" twist. It's a nice middle ground imo.
