Don't have time to write out all my thoughts right now, but aside from that random tumblr guy's post (not sure who that is or how exactly I ended up there, to be honest), I will say this: HOLY SHIT.

Also, it sounds to me like he says "If it's still alive, you have to kill it and then yourself." I could be wrong, but it definitely sounded to me like "it" and not "them" or "anyone" or any such thing.

I heard "them." Just rewatched that particular scene a couple of times to try to confirm it.

Just to prevent that the next 2 pages here consist of 90% "I heard this." and "I heard that", let the people decide: For Democracy!

I loved the call out to other series when Tim says:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"You don't know how many others there are! There could be hundreds! Thousands!"

I never would've thought to invert those images. I just assumed that picture 1 was a face and picture 2 was jumbled nonsense! Good job to you sir!

I, too, believe that a movie tie-in occurred here. It actually makes me a little excited for the movie, for a change.

Shout-out to the other series is another idea I didn't consider. That would be pretty cool. It acknowledges that there are other great series out there, but also that Marble Hornets "caused" them, only not in a pretentious way.

Also, filler. First, not a single person here said that this Entry is one. As usual, we're not as absurd as people make us out to be. Second, since we're obviously close to the end, whether this is the final entry or just one of the last few, I don't see that "things that seem like filler will be relevant later" thing coming true. Of course, there were already people saying that it has. But I've learned that people will go to extreme lengths to deny that there's even a single second of filler in Marble Hornets.

But, well, I can just picture some hack journalist trying to drum up the mythos as corrupting young minds and using entry #86 as an example (despite that the boys really held back on the violence throughout the series, so this entry would make one helluva an impact), tarnishing the mythos, it's fanbase and it's creators in the proccess. It was an unfortune concidence, but well, such is life and I just don't think the boys have really stopped to consider how their work might be percieved. Sometimes, these things have to be done, artistic vision withstanding

This would always happen, no matter how strained the connection. It wouldn't matter if they waited years to upload & had Alex getting pistol whipped to death.

Also, wiping people's memories is a great way to keep them confused, paranoid and disorientated. Jay and Jessica didn't even know whether they could trust each other when they found themselves in the hotel room with their memory of the last few months gone, for instance.

Except they often forget things that would give them a reason to be violent. Like Alex trying to kill them.

And what the Hell is up with The Operator symbol & doll?
The Operator symbol (the circle-x thing) is a symbol used in Film production to mark the locations of potential sets. Ergo, Alex was just marking potential locations for the Marble Hornets film. Depending on when he decided for Marble Hornets to be the way he offed everyone, his crazy obsession with drawing it on the papers could be caused by guilt. Or it could just be similar to a stress ball, or the way people are told to scribble in red crayon to help get anger out.

If I was the trio I would just deny any press. Any publicity that comes of this won't matter, nobody has the right to take it off youtube. An easy defense would be that you shouldn't be able to show horror movies on television since children have access to that too. Kids replicating something they saw in a horror movie/series is at no fault of the producer, rather the parents for not monitoring what their kids are watching.

That's an awfully definitive statement for a mere assumption that is obviously not truthful at all

IMO the operator symbol/doll will end up having no significance, just being a "mark" of totheark showing he was there at some point

It's a non-hackneyed, non-BS movie tie-in if that's true. (It's helped by the movie [at least so we've been told] is in the same universe as MH while not involving the specific characters of MH.)

Did Jay forget that about Alex--aside from the very start of the series, I mean?
