So Brian is confirmed dead from that tiny drop. What an anticlimactic way for totheark to die.

I don't think it was too bad, considering all of the events leading up to it.

First, for people upset over the way Hoody/Brian died I'd like to hear the way you would do it instead. If you talk the talk you better damn well walk the walk.

Second, either Tim or some other human uploaded the video. Tim was never shot or mortally wounded so he's probably alive. Being mind warped, traumatized, and physically exhausted would make anyone just lay there.

Third, I would like to ask everyone about what they think about a third Totheark member and the possibility that they uploaded the video. If Brian was The Third and Tim was the Second who would be The First? Maybe it's someone we haven't seen yet but has been around the entire time.

Keep in mind that Alex mentioned that he died "slowly", so it wasn't so much the drop that did him in as it was the lack of medical attention.

NOT Ellis (iPod man in the hoodie in the woods at the start of Season Two)!

I still don't see why TTA is or has to be a "movement" or an "organization." There's no hard evidence of it. Just as there's no hard evidence that Tim's dead, though that's certainly a valid interpretation of the end of the most recent entry.

If it's someone we haven't seen yet at all and have had absolutely no hint of his or her existence, then it's poor writing. It would make more sense for the old lady at the now-defunct antique store to be TO's mother.

Old age, with a beer in hand, surrounded by hot lady nurses.

EDIT: And kids I guess maybe.

I dunno, people blacking out and just lying there is a pretty rare occurrence on this show...

I feel like the implication is that Tim was the first. He was just having episodes during the '06 filming and nobody realized it. Brian didn't join at least until Alex fed him to Openheimerator or maybe even long after that, but I think we're meant to assume that Tim was the first tothearkish dude.

He coulda hurt his neck or back severely and lanugushed, especially without medical help.

Or impaled himself on a protruding object and died from blood loss or the gangrene. That last one especially, that was a filthy-ass old building.

That's true, Geneaux. Admittedly thats a much more horrible death, but it's one a character as important as Brian deserves, rather than having a bridge dropped on him.

Some videos, notably Decay, has TTA pretty aware that his death was coming. I'm thinking he knew he was gonna die and that incident was planned. Hopefully another video may tell us what was up with all of TTA's crazy all-knowing stalkery business.

People don't get that the whole point of Marble Hornets is subverting usual horror/mystery tropes for the sake of realism as a contribution to the atmosphere. Brian dies in a stupid, random, upsetting way because that's how people die in the real world. So does Jay. It's the same reason the series doesn't have very many jump scares, and spends half the first season running out of context slender man clips. That's how the series is. All the characters dying in random, sad ways is completely and utterly correct, at least in my eyes. Also, for the people really complaining about the lack of action, Tim just stabbed Alex to death with a pocket knife while screaming at the top of his lungs and then coughed up blood til he passed out. I mean really.

Exactly right.

Also they battled and chased one another across space and time. It was actually pretty freaking epic, without breaking the show's own story-telling boundaries.

Does anyone else think we'll see Sarah, Seth and Amy's further encounters with The Operator (as well as some extra mythology) and their deaths by Alex on the DVD?

I'd also like to see how Brian and Tim became friends - maybe some sort of video project they had to do together? It's something I'm sure many a fan would like to see, and it'd be fun waiting for the penny to drop with The Operator's reapperance in Tim's life.

Neither are terribly essentinal for the story as it stands, but would be some great features on the DVD Smile

Has anyone pointed out yet how Tim wound up knowing way more than he ever shared with Jay or us? The stuff about containing the Operator vs. feeding it, doing what it wanted, Alex killing Amy, Tim didn't arrive at those conclusions based on the stuff he and Jay shared with us, he just knew it. Plus, like he finally admitted to Alex in this entry (and couldn't even 100% admit to Jay), he knew he had been dealing with it all his life. I'm kinda hoping that, if we do get another entry, it's going to be Tim doing some kind of confessional and coming clean with us.
