 		Someone a few pages back chalked up the "you missed someone" to smack talk, and I think this is the case . . . if Tim didn't mean that Alex missed Tim, then he probably meant that Alex missed Alex himself. I mean, he did just fatally stab the dude, so it's a pretty bad-ass bit of smack talk, straight up action movie dialogue.

 		But then there's also the fact that Alex says "If he's still alive". Alex did mention in entry 70 that he got someone to play "one of the smaller parts" that happened to be from around Rosswood. That might be it. And then in entry 71 he did mention having more than one roommate at his house. I'm thinking more likely it's the unidentified cast member mentioned in 70 though.

 		Hm! I hadn't caught that. Considering how much speculation there is around there being another human left for Tim to take care of besides himself, I kind of hope that is the case. Although if it isn't somebody we've met before, it's not going to be a very emotional experience I think. I will say this, I'm just going to have to do everything in my power to not think about MH until the next entry is out. This is going to be the most grueling wait yet.

Alex listed Tim though, when going down the line of people who he's killed. In any case, even if you don't think Alex says "If he's", if you listen closely you can hear two distinct syllables, so it isn't "It's" either. But I'm pretty sure he's saying "If he's still alive".


When does he list Tim?

Well, it would have to be someone we haven't seen before, the faces we know that were involved are all accounted for. I'm thinking if there is another cast member on the chopping block, a confrontation with him would be a catalyst for some exposition.

Geneaux486, I think he was referring to Tim.


I thought about that, but since Tim was playing the "Brian" character's best friend and romantic rival, I don't think Alex would call that a "smaller" part. Tim's character was confirmed to be in several scenes in the movie, at least.

Possible. Each time I listen to it, I hear "If he's still", though.

It's too late to add someone new, don't you think? Unless this is gonna stretch on at least to Entry #95. There hasn't been that much evidence for someone else. Also, We can't tell when exactly that phone call to Amy came, but Alex reworked the MH script apparently extensively, and with Jay's help (and Tim's derision). It could be that Tim's role was expanded later. I got the sense that Alex was making up a lot of that pitch to Tim about the character on the spot just so he didn't seem so pathetic.

The "smack talk" interpretation just makes sense. Alex tries to kill Tim and reveals that he killed Amy. Tim tries to break Alex's concentration and starts talking about Amy. Then he makes that statement about whether killing others made Alex feel in control. Then he slashes Alex with the knife and said he missed one.

Rewatching the audition tape, Alex had Tim read for the part of the protagonist's best friend. Like I said, that isn't a small part, I don't think. As for it being too late to introduce someone, I don't really agree with that either, depending on how it's done. The series has been full of abrupt changes like that. Regardless, I think it may be a moot point, since it really sounds like Alex is saying "If he's still alive, you need to kill him, then yourself." We need someone with skillz to isolate that audio. That's a thing people can do, right?

Hopefully someone can. Would be nice if the THAC boys would post a transcript. On the plus side: Good acting by Joseph to pull off a dying, depleted Alex. On the negative side: Much of what he said is a labored whisper and a slur. I wonder whether it can be identified for sure.
