This is either the end or it isn't.

I loved it, it just required a little unpacking. I can most certainly hear the sirens. They are a thing that is objectively there. Which implies that Tim offed Jessica.

It's possible that there could be something more after this. A TTA or... Something ominous uploaded. But right now I'm inclined to believe that it's the ending. And I'm personally satisfied.

Nah, it's a coincidence. Alex meets Tim in 84 through Brian. Alex mentions in 70 that he discovered Tim was from where Amy goes to college. So Alex was with Amy before that. Tim didn't introduce them. Alex may have known Jessica through Amy in 2006, but Tim didn't introduce them, or else Alex wouldn't have acted like Tim bring from where Amy goes to college was a coincidence.

Tim probably knows Jessica because, as the video basically indicates, she wakes up in the town they're both from after 76, and thus they started going to the same mental clinic, because they both had mental problems, and it's a small town. We know Jessica was from there because she mentions maybe going to parks around there when she was a kid.

Tim being there was actually part of the coincidence, insofar as it being his hometown goes. Jay was lead there after Alex moved out there, and Masky followed him, as we see in 35. He wakes up there, like Jessica, for Alex related reasons.

Hahaha, this made me lol.

- Posted on the 5 year anniversary of 'Introduction'.
- Footage of scenery while driving.
- Tim 'leaving' in one sense or another, either way clearly not planning on posting footage anymore.
- The sparse statement that 'Everything is fine' has a lot of finality to it.

It may be a red herring, but I feel this is indeed the end.

"The Spirit of Christmas"?

"Joined today"?

"Kilroy"?

Joseph?

I literally thought the exact same thing.

That and The Braves have sucked since they left Boston! Maddux WHO?

I seriously don't think this is the last entry.

because it wouldn't make sense to end it now, there's many questions left unanswered. Like that cut from Tim coughing with distortion about and Jessica asking if Tim was ok, to Tim driving away. What the fuck happened after that? Did the Operator come and kill Jessica? Did the Operator go "Gee Tim, sorry I basically haunted you your entire life and killed most of the friends you made."

And I doubt Tim would just put "Everything is fine" after what we just saw before that cut happened. He would've at least given us SOME explanation.

And theres still the explanation Tim owes us as to how he just happened to know where to find Jessica, after the Operator took her body last time we saw her.

Am I really the only one willing to believe the sirens don't mean anything? Is it really not possible that as Tim was driving and filming there was a police car off in the distance that had nothing to do with him IG or OOG?

Okay, I've thought of a nice concise way to explain why I'm not sure this is the ending:

Because this is literally everything they promised the ending would not be. Whether it's a good ending or not, it doesn't fit with their past statements.

Which I should go find now to be sure I remember correctly, I suppose...

First of all, Tim didn't attack Jessica in a open parking lot, in broad daylight, in front of a building full of potential witnesses. He wouldn't have been a free man afterwards if he had. He looked too incapacitated to hurt anybody during that coughing fit. Besides, we saw him throw away his mask, thus rejecting his violent alter-ego, and the Operator's influence over him.

Although he lied to Jess about Jay (or so we think; I will never give up my headcanon that Jay is still alive!), this doesn't make him a sack of shit. It makes him a man wrestling with a problem beyond his comprehension, on which nobody can give him advice. He stops long enough to say his goodbyes to Jessica, then drives off to start his life anew, or to make his last stand against the Operator. Everything isn't "fine," but he hasn't given up hope.

If Trosephim didn't answer my questions, they gave me enough material to make my own answers. This ending lets me decide for myself what Tim's ultimate fate will be, and I'm okay with that.

I'm willing to believe they don't mean anything, but I can't help but feel like it's a nice subtle thing they threw in to make you second guess what happened.

Great post. Couldn't've said it better myself.

This logic makes perfect sense, and I tend to agree somewhat, but why would they make that scene all intense and distortion-heavy if they didn't want us to think something happened there?

Because something did--he had a huge attack of Slendy Sickness. It might just be that Jessica's got the TO taint too. Maybe he just can't be around others with the same malady or history, especially if emotions get stirred (you can read that he was emotional about leaving his home or that he was thinking of Jay or that he's hot for Jess, and it could be all of those and more). So he's not in as much control as he'd thought, and he'll deal with it the rest of his life.
