That's disturbing.

It's the shadow of either Tim's hand or Jessica's hand on the ground.

By the way, in the first pages there was someone who said that it was a ambiguous ending. If this is the ending, it surely is, hence the last image.

Check the signal. Ambiguous.

Yes, but by the time this image is on, you can hear that Tim has already activated his turn signal, so he has already picked a direction. He has made a decision. We just didn't get to see it (yet?).

By the way, there is a hand near Jessica's face during the distortion. It seems to me the hand appears as if trying to get into Jessica's head (but maybe I'm reading too much into it? Might be just a spooky hand...).

speaking of spooky hands...

I pretty much just typed random numbers.

So according to their kickstarter email, this was the last entry.

Absolutely fucking garbage ending

Still doesn't make sense that Alex wouldn't shoot Jessica after taking the gun off of her now that we know his goal. They will just pretend that that plot hole doesn't exist

I always had the theory that, since Brian was a friend of Tim, and Tim was followed by the Operator for a while, that they had somewhat (hardly any) of an immunity or something. So when Alex tried to take them out, they survived.

This doesn't explain why Jay or Jessica is alive either, and they never answered any of that, which pisses me off.

Well, Jay isn't alive. Tim just said that because it wouldn't alarm Jessica the way saying "oh, he died" would have.

Is it possible that the hand is some kind of subtle nod to the same hand that appeared to "enter" Alex's head in Entry 23 (I think it was 23 anyway)?

Entry #22. Entry #23 was Jay warping around Brian's old house. And I had been wondering about a possible reference.

By the way, anyone know where that hand that reaches for Jay's camera turns up in Entry #23? I've watched that many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many times, and I've still to see it.

They seriously didn't answer anything about the distortion either. Some things are cool if they're left up to viewer interpretation, a lot of the things they never addressed aren't.

Pretty peeved that they introduced things in season 3 that they never concluded / introduced things that went against what we've been shown just for a cool shot (like alex being able to control where he's teleported)

Would I watch another project by these guys? If they don't answer these questions on the DVD and refuse to do a Q&A, probably not. Even if it's a direct sequel, they fucked up hard with a lot of season 3. They made it all about the characters and made the operator a side character at best, and then killed off all of the main characters without giving them any kind of resolve. Hoody died like a bitch and was revealed in the worst way possible.

Sure there were great entries here and there, but overall, they really dropped the ball. Assuming i'm not misreading that kickstarter email and there is another entry with an actual suitable ending. If you think about it, the entire series is back where it started. No answers regarding the operator were ever given, and the only two big reveals in the entire story were that alex was actually not innocent, and that tim was most likely the source. Both of which ended up having no impact on anything at the end considering Alex dies before his mission is fulfilled, and apparently let an innocent girl go, which defeats the entire fucking purpose of his mission. Tim "may" not be the source anyway, so that whole backstory of his was useless.

I still think they're stand up guys and tried their hardest, but unfortunately their hardest did not even come close to what I was expecting. They focused too much on setting up "cool shots" or "cool moments" and not enough about the overall plot. Sorry if this sounds like an angry ramble but generally when someone invests 5 years in something they want a payoff, not a happy go lucky ending that doesn't fit in with the rest of the series mood. I would have been slightly less upset if they ended it on 86, but that still leaves the issue of failing to answer mysteries in an attempt to be "clever" by making the audience just guess what they were going for.

I agree with you there. They honestly set up a good story, but like you said, they focused too much on cool moments (like the fire or teleport spam) than actually trying to end their story. Plus, they did fuck up with Hoody, but Jay's death was pretty good. I'm fine with the ending, but I JUST wanted to know Hoody's motives and what the fuck the Ark was

I will at least give them credit for sticking to a schedule that makes sense IG. The other slender series seem to update like four times a year and while they are usually really good entries on there part, they update so infrequently. Hell a lot of the time TribeTwelve doesn't update for months and everyone thinks he just gave up on it.
