Hey, that's pretty good. I didn't get anywhere with it, but it's kinda fascinating. I think there's probably too much mystery in it, but it's nicely managed from the mechanical point of view.

Where I've got to so far: (not far)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Initial analysis:
Most of the active items have a symbol.
There's a notice with symbols on it.
The symbols are in the sequence:
o The outside tap at the back;
o The fridge;
o ? haven't found this one;
o The strange board inside the back door
o Electricity meter
o The outside tap again
The spanner from the scooter operates the water valve
The corresponding meter has off and several flow values
The doorbell pulses its fourth button sometimes
The cars don't open, nor the front door
There are other objects that don't seem to do anything:
o Plants etc. below window at back;
o A tap near the front door;
o A plaster pussy cat on the bench.
There's a keypad that probably opens the mailbox when you solve the code.
The fence can be seen through the mailbox.
There are five stakes corresponding to the numbers 1-5, but the lengths are all different.
The mailbox shows a different picture thru the back, which may correspond to the fence. i.e. There are probably nine numbers in the code, corresponding to stepping through from the highest paling of the fence to the lowest then back again. I've tried the obvious 325414523 and 341252143 (depending on which side of the fence you count from), but to no apparent avail.
There's a second ?electrical switchbox with same symbol as the meter with two buttons. The meter readings (at the meter) vary if the switches are operated
Oh dear...

I have 4 of the 5 lights (2-5) on the front door lit. But I just don't know what to do with that backwards L. Probably missing something really stupid.
Edit: Yes, I was missing something REALLY stupid. Just goes to show I should pay better attention at times. But at least I finished. Yea

I finally solved the thing. Got into the house.
Quite a clever game! Thanks for the link.

Ugh, neither can I... I've solved the mailbox puzzle and the gas (?) puzzle (the one with the upside-down "G" symbol), but the rest is a big mystery to me...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
How do I use the spanner? Do I have someway of entering an inventory??
I also cannot find the third symbol on the chart, but going by the fact that the mailbox also lights one of the doorbell lights, maybe that is the one?
Oh and WTF does the naked cat/rabbity-like thing do?!

Use the spanner on the water controls under the circular lid. It's buried in the grass, next to a rectangular plate. Under the plate, you can see the results. Should be near the fenceposts you can see through the mailbox. Won't show that you have it (or anything else) in inventory until you find a place to use the item.
Yes, the third symbol is the mailbox. Check the post holding the box.
Depends which garden statue you are looking at. Yes, there are more to be found.

Well, it took me a while, but I finally finished!
A rather unproductive use of this afternoon, but amusing.

Finally made it, with a little nudge or two from Diandra.
A very appealing game, actually, consistently and fairly designed.

OK, I have them all except the gas puzzle. Any hints?

Not sure if you found this out:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The little fusebox near the front door controls the two gasmeters. You have to get both gauges in the twelve o' clock position.
To elaborate:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I did it by only using the left button, with the 'P' like symbol. Thinking in terms of a clock, that button moves the left gauge needle "10 minutes" forward, and the right needle "5 minutes" forward. If they are not in a correct position in relation to eachother, you might need to use the second button, with the "W" like symbol, to set that right first.

thanks Giskard BTW, I figured out the second button...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
While the first button (P) moves the clock hands 10 min:5 min, the second button (W) moves the clock hands 5 min:5 min
