They said it at a convention a few days ago or something.

Not that I know of, but I see no reason not to believe it. The story's done, there really isn't anything more they could do anyway.

Well it could be a huge red herring...

Maybe, but entry 87 brought Tim's philosophy full-circle and gave us the appropriate closure for the type of guy he is. The Operator can't be stopped, so he's got no choice but to learn to live with it, and get on with his life. It'd be weird if they faked the completion of his arc and went in a different direction like that.

I'm no talking about going in a different direction, but maybe a final TTA video showing maybe all the people gone, to have a proper closure.
It would also make a twist that Brian wasn't TTA since he's dead

See, I somehow don't see much point in someone lying and saying they confirmed it's over. I mean, I could believe someone would lie to troll us, but the better way to troll us would be to say that it *wasn't* over.

That said, yes, it's technically possible Tumblr guy lied. Or just misunderstood something Trosephim said.

Or Troy himself lied so that the last entry will be a surprise....

It would just be nice to see something official from the big three. A tweet, a tumblr post, or something like that.

Oh, just remembered another priceless UF moment:

From a rather confused spambot on this thread, though the original post has been taken down by the admins you can still read the responses (Serum's in particular.)

Also, on the subject of Alex thinking people were "gone" in season one, I think the Operator can't take people who are still alive. Tunnel guy died, so his corpse vanished for good, stayed in the Operator's realm. Same with Jay. Tim was still alive, so he didn't stay. Jessica was still alive, so she was spat back out. Brian, Jay, and Tim during the summer of 06, same thing. Alex thought they were dead, the Operator tried to take them, but they survived, so it had to spit 'em back out.

I think you're mainly right on with this, though I don't think Jessica was ever taken. Also, to clarify: You mean in saying that The Operator "can't take people who are still alive" that The Operator "can't take people for good who are still alive," right? Because Tim's been abducted several times, apparently, as have Alex and (before his ultimate death) Jay.

Please keep linking these. I wasn't active enough to see any of this gold. On top of that, each thread makes me realize even more that the mods are as deadpan as they are incoherent, which only adds to the gold. It's glorious.

Whoa, first post in like one and a half years! Man, what a great run. Having been following it since the end of season 1, it feels weird that Marble Hornets is over, since this series and Troy, Joseph and Tim have been a rather large part of my Internet life (as they have been most of yours, I'm sure). Seriously, how many nights have I been awake because of this series? And all the let's plays, podcasts and blogs?

My favorite part of the series would probably have to be season 2, since that's when I started really getting into it and being all interpretive and shit. Season 3 was great, but I kinda lost my grip on it. Now I'll have a shiny, new Kickstarter DVD to marathon it...

When it comes to this forum, I really loved being here back in my day. Not only was it essential for understanding MH, but I've seen quite a lot of hilarious shit on here, along with all the entertaining fights and rivalries. I wish I had participated more myself, but it was a fun and interesting journey all the same. Not that it's over or anything, this place'll be around as long as Trosephim are doing stuff and Marble Hornets' memory lives on.

That may have been a little much for me to say, but I just don't agree with how trolls/spam are handled on the forum, or with how certain decisions are justified. More frequently than not, the laziness feels apparent. As Lithp put it in the Entry 87 thread when the Puppity Pupmaster of Twisted Poutyness had another hissy fit:

Lithp wrote:
I never really did understand how moderation on this site works. Rage thread dissolves into personal attacks? Better close it & forbid making another. Someone does that time & time again? No need to say anything.

Anyway, I don't want to de-rail the thread into a discussion about the mod team. Link more threads for me if you find/remember any more, Joker. It's fun to read 'em.

The video was shot in a manner that replicated Introduction, it was released 5 years exactly since the date of Introduction. It's gone full circle, why would it keep going?
