[TRAILHEAD] ZDK12/IRIS

I've been following the blog since last night and I've thought it seemed kind of ARG-y from the start. I've seen some other tumblr users speculate about it being an ARG as well, but there's no concrete proof yet one way or the other. Either way, those posts did seem way suspicious to me.

Did anyone attempt to get a hold of those sound files and run them through a spectrograph thing? (I don't have any program or know how it's done, I just know it can be done.) They do sound an awful lot like they might contain something, especially the ones with distortion that sounds like static/distorted talking-ish sounds.

EDIT: After some googling I recorded the sounds, saved them as MP3 and ran them through Spek but it yielded no result. That's as far as I can go with audio editing, apart from using Audacity to run things backwards and at different speeds/pitch - but that also has so far yielded nothing. Will keep my eye out for future updates and see what happens.

This post in particular stood out as interesting to me. Seems like IRIS is getting more and more coherent.

EDIT: I just noticed that IRIS is quoting a lot from Wallace Stevens' Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird.

http://zdk12.tumblr.com/post/76131977059/ in particular sparked my memory, but they're also possibly referencing the "I was of three minds/Like a tree/In which there are three blackbirds" stanza by saying they have three selves. I believe they also quoted the "It was evening all afternoon./It was snowing/And it was going to snow./The blackbird sat/In the cedar-limbs." stanza at one point

Hey, haven't been on unfiction in years, sorry if I muck up or anything, but IRIS sucked me back in.

Did anyone see any significance in their distress about not having "audio processing capabilities", before being shut down the first time? Their responses to questions mostly involved this, and since starting back up they've begun posting more frequent audio posts. And one with a reference to Thirteen Ways, no less.

I played a bit more with IRIS 9 (I've named the sound files in order of upload, so IRIS 9 = the current latest) and ended up with the following:

With roman numerical it can be read as:
814243

If placed in Binary (with lines being 1, and the others being 0) we get nothing, and those were the only ideas I could think of. Anything else?
