Windmill Diaries was before my time, I'd not heard of it until this thread, but I just looked it up and... really? People thought this was real? Someone actually tried to sell that shit?

The UF thread was hilarious, though.

I actually used to like the "Hoody is Future Jay" theory. I used to see it as kinda plausable for a variety of reasons:

- The time-shifting that seemes to take place in a few entries, like Entry 24 and Entry 72 where it suddenly became dark. This could've been a hint that time travel was possible and - to some extent - controllable.

- We don't really know what the Ark is or what it can do. Even when Jay died, I questioned if perhaps he was taken to the Ark (or at least that dark realm) and managed to manipulate it somehow to go back in time and become Hoody.

- Hoody being Brian was so obvious that I thought it could have been a red herring.

- Hoody being Jay would explain how he was always one step ahead (already knowing what was going to happen) as well as always knowing where people are, and being able to get in to the Marble Hornets YT and Twitter accounts.

- Some of Hoody's cryptic messages could have made sense with this theory. eg; Lead me to the Ark, Lead me to Death. Jay had to die for Hoody to exist, therefore a continuous paradox.

There were some other things too, but I don't remember them right now. Of course, there were some things that let that theory down - the big one being entry 73 (I think it was) where Alex sees Hoody unmasked.. Oh well.

I remember reading something about TO using a recording of Alex's voice/imitating his voice on the phone in #64 and that it wasn't really Alex talking

Prior to #26 Alex and Amy were TTA; after #26 Amy was Hoody/TTA.
