You did a really good job, Ladybird! Do you have any plans to do more with this universe? I thought the premise was fascinating. If you have plans for books or games, I'd definitely be interested in checking them out.

Originally, I wasn't planning on it being so dependent on private messages, but I ended up doing that anyways because it was more believable for, say, Anthill to warn people about Duquesne's obsession with the Antichrist through PM rather than posting it in public. It worked out alright, because, as I realized, most of the players were from this forum.

And I got a LOT of private messages, which was fun.

Things didn't really go as I expected them to go, but I do like the direction they took. I didn't expect everyone to so unanimously side with Andrew after the scions thing was revealed. I was honestly expecting people to play as being afraid of him and needing to contain him after he sets off Yellowstone. But it worked out great.

I never in a MILLION YEARS thought you guys were going to maneuver Exsupero into a trap and get him killed like that. That really was only possible because a) Kare caused them to have to move to Cincinnati, and b) Alex kept trying to get their location from Frances, which made them suspicious of them, which led to the trap. I spent a few hours worrying about whether the trap should actually succeed, and talking to people about it, and eventually I just rolled a D10, and decided that if it was 1-5, Andrew would win. It came up 2. My plan for if it hadn't was to use the other puzzle I wrote, which would have ended with you guys "hacking" Exsupero's augmentation and forcing him to quit being such a jerk.

I'm sorry there weren't more puzzles. I am really bad a making puzzles, and not one of the people working with me is any better. I also really felt silly ROT13ing the whole "Beth is one of you" thing into the site, but I was unsure how else to let people know that she was just a (very awesome) player. Beth was totally cool, and spent a LOT of time getting information from the characters to feed back to the rest of you. My biggest thanks, Beth.

The people who were working with me: Fie Tronic and Xeps. Fie Tronic is a programmer/tech person who helped modify Wordpress to do what I needed it to do, and also streamlining things because, for a while there, my hosting company was complaining about my CPU usage. That's why the admins kept talking about DDoSing - I wanted to have an in-game explanation if the site went down for a few hours from overload. Xeps was the person who played Mark, and helped with the whole parahuman concept.

As to other works in the same universe, well, obviously, this was originally meant to be a novel, but I've only written about sixty pages of it, and I'm not sure if I can actually finish it any time soon. I could see Xeps and I running some kind of sequel set in the same universe, either in the future or past. I actually wrote him a message asking if he would be interested in that, but he's (probably) in class right now, so I'll see what he says.
